Information Carys B. would like to know about your pet

I don’t have any breed preferences, as I understand that every breed—and individual dog—has its own unique needs, personality, and desires. Before taking your dog out, I'd love to learn more about their character, walking habits, and any specific triggers or things that may cause them stress. It would also be helpful to know about any medications or restrictions your dog may have, as well as your vet's contact information in case of an emergency.

A typical day

When it comes to walks, I believe dogs should experience the earth beneath their paws. I'm happy to travel if your dog enjoys it, for long walks through big parks, along canals, in open fields, forests, and more. My goal is to provide your pup with genuine stimulation and adventure. However, if your dog prefers staying closer to home or is unable to walk far, I can also keep things local. I’ll be attentive and mindful of any specific needs your pet may have.

Pet care experience

Hello! I’m Carys, a 30-year-old photographer and passionate animal lover. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, ponies, horses, alpacas, rats, rabbits, fish, geese, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even stick insects! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’m dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. My experience includes working at a dog kennels and a veterinary practice. In the past few years, the majority of what I do is house sitting when people go away on holiday, this offers a refreshing change of scenery and complements my photography business, which I primarily run from home. I’m friendly, attentive, and always open to your preferences when it comes to caring for your pets. Compassion and kindness are at the heart of everything I do, and I’ll always ensure your pets are cared for in a way that makes you feel most at ease. I'm first aid trained for dogs so you can rest assured your pooch is safe with me :)

Carys did a fantastic job sitting our cat for 10 days! She has an intuitive way of communicating with animals that came across during our first meeting and reassured us that he was in safe hands. She also left our house spotless and clean which was a lovely touch after a long journey home. Couldn't recommend her enough!!!

Carys was fantastic. Really friendly and helpful. Came and looked after my dog whilst I was away overnight. Great communication. Lots of updates. Very pleased, and will definitely book with her again.

I would highly recommend Carys. Super helpful, great communication beforehand and most importantly my golden retriever loved her. She took excellent care of Roo, who loved her big walk and all the cuddles. Will give Carys a shout anytime I am in the area. Thank you!
