I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up rescuing boxers, and we were an unofficial doggie hospice for the seniors that were surrendered. I’ve helped raise two puppies: a Great Dane/boxer mix (size of a Dane, energy of a boxer), and I am the dogfather of a beagle/basset mix (yes, stubborn from both sides). I’ve dealt with the craziest of crazy, and it only made me fall more in love.

I care for them like they’re my own. I keep my space clean and all human food out of dog’s reach. I’m happy to have dogs on furniture or in bed, whatever makes them most comfortable.

Carter was enthusiastic and great communicator when looking after Bobby. It was evident he had good experience with larger dogs and had a fun engagement with ours.
This is a family recommendation :) Carter has been around dogs his whole life and as a child and teen, was very involved in our family's fostering via Boxer Rescue. He was used to many dogs coming in and out of the house. He is caring and compassionate with dogs and loves ALL of them. He also respects any training or rules that owners set for their dogs and can adapt to many training behaviours. He is a very active person, so if your dog needs a workout, he's your guy :)
Carter has always had positive interactions with my dog. Not only when I’ve asked him to take care of my dog but also whenever we get together during family get-togethers. He’s always very attentive, loves being around any dog and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure my dog is safe and happy. You can truly tell that Carter has a deep love for all dogs and any dog in his care will be well loved like his own.
Carter is a dog whisperer to even the most stubborn of breeds. He has had a hand in raising many dogs over the years, including my beagle-basset hound mix. As a first-time dog owner at the time, I felt comfortable having Carter to rely on for support and advice while training a difficult puppy. He is extremely passionate and caring about all dogs, and will put your mind at ease knowing your dog is in good hands.
I grew up in the same house as Carter (siblings) and we had lots of experience with fostering dogs. Through this we had experiences with dogs of all different temperments and sizes. Now as an adult, I have a rescue dog who I've been on a training journey with and Carter has been great with him. I've seen first hand how much he loves and cares for all dogs and displays patience with them, while also letting them bring out their playful side. I think he may be my dog's second favourite person (second to me of coure) and I know any dogs would be well cared for and loved with under his care.
