Pet care experience
I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners.

I can't say enough good things about Carter and Mindy! My dog is very old and extremely scared of strangers, so I was nervous about leaving her with someone. But Carter and Mindy were absolutely wonderful, kind, gentle, attentive and incredibly patient. They really took the time to make her feel comfortable and by the end of the stay she loved having them around. It was such a relief knowing she was in such caring hands. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate pet sitters!

We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!

We would like to know of any medical or dietary issues upon requesting a booking with us. It would be very appreciated from all parties involved.
A typical day
We wake up early in the morning every day and would feed your dog and then let them go outside. Then if the weather permits a lot of outside time during the day when Mindy goes outside to care for her garden your animal will be allowed to run as much as they want and play with the toys that we have provided!

Availability
Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock.
