I have loved dogs since I was a little girl and now I get to love dogs professionally! We would love to have your dog stay at our spacious farm in East Tucson near Vail. I grew up on a ranch with tons of animals and I competed as an equestrienne in multiple disciplines. I later went on to work at vet clinics as a veterinary assistant. I have also taken obedience classes with all my dogs to better understand how to train dogs with positive reinforcement. Meanwhile, my husband competed extensively in USDAA and AKC canine agility, training with Jim Basic and AKC World Team Coach Nancy Gyes at the renowned Power Paws in California. He and his Border Collie Buzz qualified multiple times for USDAA Nationals and both of his dogs became agility champions! He’s also done tons of traditional dog training including AKC Canine Good Citizen, Susan Garrett's Crate Games, and loves working from home with pups at his feet (and taking play breaks with them). We believe that dogs are intelligent, loving beings who deserve respect — and that they LOVE to learn (especially with some well-timed treats). My husband and I both work from home, so dogs hang out with us in our workspaces and get lots of cuddles between outside play breaks. We love to play fetch in an area of our fenced-in arena and yards and to take long walks around our 5 acres. When we’re tuckered out, we lay in the backyard oasis we have created, playing with the kids and pups! We have three other dogs who are treated like royalty. We also have kids who also love dogs. We are an outdoorsy, fun family who enjoy gardening, playing outside, working on the tractor and, of course, snuggling dogs. We would love to have your dog come stay with us in our ranch retreat. They’ll have fun, meet friends and will be well-rested and pampered when you return!
