A Luxury Doggy Holiday Retreat With Carrie
I cant remember a time when I didn't own at least one dog, and I have years experience of looking after other peoples too. Having just built a lovely new home, right by the sea on the west coast of Wales, I would love to give your lovely furry friend a wonderful holiday and lots of love and care. In addition to owning dogs of many shapes, breeds and sizes over the years, I have fostered for the RSPCA, which was extremely rewarding. In addition, we spent a good deal of time caring for dogs, in my clients own homes via Trusted House-Sitters. As a very active retired lady, I have all the time in the world to devote to your pet while you are away, and you can rest assured that I take that responsibility very seriously.

Carrie has an excellent understanding of dogs. Our rescue, Bridie, has her little quirks and can be wary in new situations, but she took to Carrie and James immediately. Bridie had a wonderful stay with plenty of walks in woodlands and on beaches in between helping Carrie in the garden and watching TV with James! Carrie put our minds at rest with regular photos and updates. Bridie is already looking forward to her next stay! We highly recommend Carrie - thank you both so much.
Fantastic stay!! Carrie is a dog whisperer-Saffie was a perfect dog, over the w/e apparently! James was no doubt helping out too. Cant recommend them enough!
Daisy had a fabulous time with Carrie, lots of lovely beach walks and met lots of new friends. I’m sure she would have been happy to stay forever! I would have no hesitation in recommending Carrie and will entrust her with my dog again safe in the knowledge she will be happy and well looked after. Daisy is a big, long haired, German Shepherd.
Carrie is an excellent sitter. She helped me out at short notice and as soon as I arrived I knew Billy and Tilly were in good hands. I was a little late returning to collect them but Carrie was understanding. Picked up two very content Jack Russells who seemed to have enjoyed their break too. Highly recommend.
Perfect!! 😍 I was quite apprehensive about leaving our very bouncy Boxer with someone he didn’t know - he spends all day every day with me and likes to know where I am! Carrie was welcoming, kind and very reassuring, making the whole process easy. Her communications were helpful and excellent - pointing out a local beach we could walk him beforehand. When I returned that afternoon, Dylan was calm, contented, and by all accounts had had a lovely day with her. I would unreservedly recommend Carrie, and book with her again. Also the service from Rover was simple, easy, and reasonably priced. Well done!
Carrie and James were perfect! They could not have been more lovely and hospitable, Hamish loved them and their beautiful home. From the first meeting Hamish was very relaxed and I had no worries about leaving him in Carrie’s care. We had photo updates which showed Hamish having a great time. We would recommend Carrie and James to anyone/dog wanting a relaxed, safe home environment to stay. Thank you 😊

Dates de la garde
I am retired, and living in a glorious part of West Wales, just a ten minute walk beautiful beaches. I usually start and end the day with a walk to, and along either the beach or the coastal path that are both just around the corner. Having a furry guest alongside to enjoy the walks is a pleasure for me.

I have a fully secure garden backing onto a spectacular ancient woodland, and nowhere near a main road. Your pet would be sharing our lovely home with me, my husband, and my husbands guide dog, who is, as you can imagine, supremely well behaved, calm and loving. I have completed a canine first aid course, for which I am CPD certified, and it is always my aim to make sure your pet is just as loved and cared for as they would be at home with you.

Exploring the endless woodland, nature trails and beaches that this area has to offer, will keep even the most inquisitive, and energetic pets full stimulated and content. In between times, they would be pottering in the garden with me, or enjoying some quiet down time.
