Pet care experience
Hello! I have experience working full time at an animal rescue and have been petsitting and caring for a large variety of animals for the last 15 years. I have fostered many dogs. My husband and I have five dogs together with three being seniors. I do work outside of the home very part time on Thursday and some Fridays but otherwise I am home full time! My husband is also home almost any time I am not. I have experience working with a variety of breeds from Saint Bernards and Great Danes to Malinois and Chihuahuas. I have also worked with dogs that are reactive to other dogs or certain people. I am confident working with breeds like Rottweilers and Pitbulls. I have experience boarding dogs that have dog aggression and require individualized attention and a safe private area but this type of boarding is a different rate (please contact for more info). I do utilize crates or separation during boarding so I require that dogs are crate trained or are comfortable being separated by a door for short periods. Our dogs are very dog and people social but for safety visiting dogs will be separated from our dogs when they cannot be supervised closely (for example over night or when we run errands). Please ask about my brushing, bathing and tidying services!
Reviews

Carolyn helped me feel at ease, leaving my four puppies with her. She was accommodating, communicated very well, and I would recommend her. She’s very knowledgeable, she’s friendly, and she truly loves the animals I will definitely rebook when I need a day sitter for both my dog and my fosters.

Wallen had an amazing time with this family ! He came home so happy and tired from all the play time he had! They took such good care of him!

Carolyn was amazing with my pups! She sent updates and pictures during their stay which was very nice. I wasn’t worried about my guys at all and they came home ready to sleep after a playful week. We will for sure be using Carolyn again :)

She did a wonderful job looking after Tanner. I really liked the timely updates and pictures! Overall great experience and would highly recommend her for dog sitting.

We do regular walks throughout the day depending on each dogs activity level. We use schedules much like a large doggy daycare which does include “quiet time” for each dog to have a private space to relax or play with their own toy.

Information Carolyn W. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a dog I like to know what things the dog doesn't like. It's important to me to be avoid doing things that will stress the pet or make them uncomfortable. I also like to know what their regular routine and activities are because they love consistency and my goal is to help stick to what is comfortable. I need to know about their health and vet care they’ve received in the last year. I require vaccination records with proof for my documents. I also have a medical and information written form that I ask owners to fill out before boarding begins.
A typical day
We usually do potty and breakfast around 5:30am and walks around 9am. We have potty break/play in the yard at noon and again at 3pm. Potty break and dinner at 6pm. Dogs who need two walks will walk at either 4pm or 8pm depending on the day. We can do filled kongs, lick mats, or Kong wobble at owners request!

Availability
We have a multi dog household so we strive for routine and consistency. Dogs are out side at least every 3 hours except for overnight. All of our household dogs are adults but our seniors need to go out more often.
