15+ year experienced dog sitter!!
My family always had a dog growing up, and I dog-sat throughout middle and high school. After graduating from college and moving on my own, I started dog-sitting around Boston to fill the void before I could get my own pup. My husband and I have our own dog at home now but are huge dog lovers and would love to take care of your pup(s) as well! I am pretty active and would be happy to take your dog on runs and hikes based on your preferences. Alternatively, I'm happy to relax and cuddle with your dog if that's more their style! I have cared for puppies and older dogs, and everything in between. I have experience caring for dogs who require medication in their food, and can accommodate any special requests with your dog's diet, etc.. I’ve gone through the enhanced background check on Rover and can provide additional references upon request. I work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, but I need to go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Typical weekend activities might include walks around the neighborhood/playing in the yard, trips to the beach or a walk or run through Wompatuck (along with some solid naps and snuggles!). I would definitely recommend Caroline to take care of our Jetty again- she shared photos of walks, playing with their dog and at home pictures, We felt very comfortable that she was in caring hands!
Caroline was so kind and willing to listen to all my worries about leaving Pablo, but alas it was a seem less week and Pablo was clearly loved dearly while we were away. She send photos and communicated quickly. She was even able to drop Pablo off which made the day so easy! Her Dog was also so fun for Pablo to have to play with!!
Caroline is very calm, patient and caring and we felt very comfortable leaving our nervous and excitable dog with her. She texted me a photo and update on how Dakota was doing an hour after we dropped her off. I appreciated that so much. I highly recommend her.
Caroline communicates clearly and promptly. The scheduling was easy and she sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. Drop off and pick up were timely. My puppy has stayed with her twice and has seemed happy when I’ve picked her up. She has her own dog Willow at home as well- a plus for dogs wanting to play with other dogs.
Caroline cared for my pup while our family traveled for quite a bit. He was super happy with her and her sweet doggie. He was obviously well cared for and she communicated with us regularly with updates on his day. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing our baby was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Caroline!

Schedule
I have my own (very friendly and docile) dog at home so keep to a pretty regular walking/bathroom break schedule when dog-sitting. I typically take dogs out early morning, afternoon around lunchtime, early evening and then once more before bed.

Safety, trust & environment
Right now, I offer mostly dog-sitting in my own home. Exercise consists of walks, runs, hikes, and playing in the fenced in back yard. We have treats, beds and toys to share!

A typical day
I think a tired dog is a happy dog so love to do longer walks for dogs who are up for it! Also totally happy to snuggle and play home if that’s more your dog’s style.
