Pet care experience
I went to NC State for Animal Science. I have taught Veterinary Assisting, Animal Science and Equine Science Courses. My father was a veterinarian growing up. I also worked at 2 different pet stores. I have been a pet sitter since 2013. I have experience with fish tanks, koi ponds, parrots, reptiles (chameleons, beardies, turtles/tortoises, geckos), small mammals (rabbits, hamsters, guineas, chinchillas, rats), cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, and cattle. We have 1 VERY friendly miniature schnauzer that is neutered. We have small animals in the house but they are safe behind a gate and door. We have almost 30 acres. Part of the yard is fenced. We are able to crate if needed, and can take fully caged animals like reptiles, birds and small mammals as well. I am able to give medication with the exact instructions from your vet. Pets will not access any stairs inside the house.

A typical day
We are able to go on runs, or play games in fields. Also able to set up shallow doggy pools for water loving friends. We also have almost 30 acres to explore.
