Certified Canine Behaviorist

Pet care experience

I understand how hard it is to leave your dog behind while you’re away. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create a safe, stress-free, and loving environment where your pup feels like part of the family. As a certified canine behaviorist with years of hands-on experience, I go beyond basic care to ensure your dog is truly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Booking Details Meet-and-greets are reserved for pet parents who are ready to move forward with a booking. My schedule fills quickly, and I want to be as fair as possible when holding dates. To secure your spot, full payment is required at the time of the meet-and-greet. If we meet and decide it’s not the right fit, no problem— of course you are under no obligation to proceed. But without payment, I won’t be able to hold your dates beyond our meeting. When you’re ready to book, let’s connect—I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! Why Choose Me? I’m not just another dog sitter—I’m someone who truly gets dogs. With my background as a certified canine behaviorist, I understand that every dog is different, with their own quirks, routines, and needs. That’s why I only board one client at a time, so your pup gets my undivided attention. Whether they’re the shy, quiet type or a ball of energy, I adapt to make their stay perfect for them. What Your Dog Can Expect Your dog will stay in a welcoming, dog-friendly home with plenty of room to relax or play. Inside, they’ll find cozy spots to lounge, while outside, a safe, well-maintained backyard is ready for their adventures. Whether your dog loves running around, chasing a ball, or just basking in the sun, there’s something here for everyone. I’ll stick to their usual routines—whether that’s specific feeding times, favorite toys, or bedtime rituals—so they feel as comfortable as possible. Health and Safety Come First Your dog’s health is my top priority. I follow strict AKC health and safety protocols, keeping my home and backyard space clean and sanitized at all times. You can trust that your dog will be cared for in a safe, hygienic environment. More Than Just a Stay This isn’t just a boarding experience—it’s a personalized retreat for your dog with training and behavioral therapy services provided upon request. But even if training and a behavioral services intake are beyond your requirements, I still take the time to learn about your pup’s personality and preferences so I can give them the care and attention they need, void of any up-charges. While you’re away, I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can see how much fun they’re having and the progress they make. Ready to Book? If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your dog like family with the added benefit of a formal education in canine behaviorism and positive training methods, you’re in the right place. Reach out when you’re ready to move forward—I’d love to meet you and your pup! Spots fill up quickly, so don’t wait too long. Let’s make sure your dog has the best time while you’re away and your money gets the greatest value for every penny spent!

Caroline was communicative up till the last day. On the day that I’m supposed to pick up Peanut, there’s zero responses to my text neither answering my calls. I showed up on schedule and rang the bell, heard there was another dog barking (I could tell it was a small breed compared to my Labrador; I paid for one-dog only boarding fees). Waited for about 5-10mins then only I see my boy. That’s not all - peanut came back with serious allergies scab and wounds, bloody spots too. I first noticed a red medium size spot on the back of his left thigh when I picked him up (I was in a hurry so I didn’t check closely right there and then), and later came to notice the whole area of his under chin, right thigh and butt area are all inflamed, red, and heavily covered in scabs and dried blood. Peanut just had his annual check-up done days before I dropped him off at Caroline, and his result came back perfect with zero issues so I knew immediately he caught something from there. My husband and I had to go get medication for him to calm down the inflammation and stop the bleeding. We did question Caroline if there were any incidents happened over at her home, she said peanut was with her the whole time and no serious injuries or occurrences throughout those 4days. She did feel sorry and apologize, sent me a video of peanut scratching his neck on her kitchen floor but I’ve no clue when that was taken. She should have alerted and report to me as soon as she suspects some weird behavior, e.g. constant scratching, but she did not. Peanut is slowly getting better nowadays but we’re still monitoring closely (luckily his daily routine with food water and loo are all normal). Although these scabs and wounds may very well be self-inflicted, seeing my dog in such condition after boarding is unacceptable. Negligence to say the least. Not to mention a full bag of treats were taken from Peanut’s bag. We’d never go back to Caroline again.

I will not be asking Caroline to watch my dog again. During our “meet and greet” Caroline had (at least) 4 dogs in the backyard that I didn’t see until I peeked through the blinds to take a look at the yard. After seeing this I confirmed my dog would be the only one there during his stay and she agreed he would be, as long as I booked before anyone else. I should have followed my gut and not trusted this. Upon drop off I asked for 1 to 2 updates per day and did not receive any updates until I asked for one more than 24 hours after dropping off my dog. I only received 1 unprompted update during a 4 day stay. At pick up Caroline had my dog outside in the front yard when I showed up. To me, it felt like she was hiding other dogs in her house, but I don’t have proof of this. When I got home I discovered she did not return some of his items he came with and returned 3 different dog bowls, further leading me to believe she had multiple dogs in her home at one time. Less than 24 hours after picking him up my dog is now sick. I wasn’t going to leave a review until discovering the items that were returned and my dog getting sick. I feel the need to give others a heads up before leaving their dogs with Caroline. Edit: reading the previous review it seems this is a pattern of Caroline’s. Very disappointed she chose to be dishonest with multiple people.

Caroline has a nice house with a yard in a safe neighborhood. Before my dog’s first overnight stay, she did a meet and greet there which was helpful to ensure my dog felt comfortable with her. He seemed calm and comfortable around her within minutes. There were a couple challenges, though. My dog is hit or miss with other dogs so I intentionally book sitters who house one at a time. Upon dropping off and picking up, though, I heard dogs in other parts of the house. Dropping off, she insisted that the others were getting picked up in an hour or two so I let it go, but she didn’t acknowledge them barking when I picked him up. She and my dog were already out in the driveway upon my arrival at the end. I’m not certain, but I’m concerned my dog had been around others during his stay (or cordoned off in another part of the house). Either way, I didn’t feel comfortable. She also promised to give me daily updates, but I found myself texting her at 8pm every night asking for them because she hadn’t. One night I forgot to text and didn’t get a response at all. Given it was my first time using her, I wanted check ins. Other Rovers will send tons of pictures and detailed updates, but even the ones I got after asking were short and really not attentive to how he was doing/feeling… just that he was handsome and smart (which he is lol, but I want to make sure he’s well cared for).

I do my best to create a routine for your dog that is most similar to their everyday life at home. If they are used to jogging 5 miles a day, I make it happen. If they normally sleep in your bed, I let them sleep in mine.
