Award winning NYC designer and compassionate dog caregiver for over 15 years. Unlike dog kennels or other bargain dog walkers, I provide premium care to an exclusive small pack! While in my charge, I ensure your pets receive quality attention to their breed type, temperament and individual needs, offer an array of stimulating engagements, cater healthy organic nourishment, oblige regular exercise of 5-8 miles daily and safeguard your pet through constant close supervision. At 6' 2" with an athletic build, rest assure I can manage big and strong breed types. I’m experienced fostering pets with anxiety, senior care, require exercise, agility training, weight management and with special medical requirements. Born and raised New Yorker. I'm an active member of Hell's Kitchen community in Midtown Manhattan for over 15 years. I've raised and trained all kinds of domesticated animals, including a Shetland Sheepdog, Pug, Miniature Pinscher, bernedoodle and more. Carlo always takes the best care of my pup and makes him feel right at home. He's very communicative and kept me updated throughout the day which I loved. Your dog will love getting to stay with him & his very sweet dog Ollie.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Carlo. From our first Meet and Greet, I felt completely confident in his knowledge, skill and care for dogs. Our boy Seymour can be fickle with other dogs, so I was a bit concerned how he would get along with Ollie - but to my delight, they became best friends! Carlo was very responsive, and sent lots of pictures and video updates while we were away, which made me so happy and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Seymour was so well taken care of. In fact, I was worried he wasn't going to want to come home! I will definitely be rebooking, Carlo and Ollie are now are part of our forever pack!

Carlo was absolutely amazing with my pups over the weekend. He continued to send updates and photos through out which made us feel very comfortable being away from our girls. I will most definitely be booking with Carlo again and recommend his services !

Carlo and his sweet dog Ollie are the best! My dog always has the best time with them— he didn’t want to leave when I picked him up tonight! Your dog will get the best care and so much attention— thank you for always being the best Carlo!

I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment, filled with luminous day light, pet safe plants and an accessible fresh patch of grass in case they need to go. I provide healthy dog food, pet safe toys, play games like hide and seek, fetch and also provide stimulating canine puzzles from beginner to advanced. Soft music is played throughout the day and use calming dim lighting in the evening. I'm within a block of two veterinarian clinics (Heart of Chelsea and Bond Vet) and an emergency vet center. My home is equipped with multiple HEPA air-filtration systems for fresh purified air and all surfaces are cleaned regularly.

Information Carlo C. would like to know about your pet

I frequent NYC Dog Parks and Central Park for all pets under my charge. Pet owners considering my services acknowledge and understand their dog must be comfortable and well socialized with a variety of other canines. If your dog exhibits selective or aggressive behavior just let me know, we can provide a custom daycare program to accommodate your pet’s behavior while ensuring everyone’s safety. As guardian of your pets, I take your dogs health and safety seriously. I patiently walk my pack around the perimeter of the dog park to assess pet behavior in the park. Once within the entry vestibule I further evaluate the dog's behavior and interactions are safe for my pack. Upon entering the main chamber, I maintain their leash until safety is clear for off-leash engagement. All while maintaining constant and close observation. Please inform me of your dogs typical behavior and if they have special needs or behaviors I can account for including severe separation anxiety, sensitive stomach, howling, loud and/or obnoxious barking, snarling, growling, snapping, staring, jumping on furniture, jumping on people, territorial, possessive, resource guarding (toy, bed, water bowl or favorite person), negative social skills with other animals and people including dog selective behavior also known as “under-socialized”, fearful, shy or any kind of observed aggression. Dogs learn positive social skills with other dogs through frequent exposure including dog parks, play dates and long walks. I can accommodate most dog breeds, small or large, shy or energetic, young or mature and those that require special care instructions. The more transparent and detailed information you share about your pet, the better I'm able to accommodate, comfort more importantly, ensure everyone’s safety! - Meet & Greets are highly recommended prior to request. - Based on your request, additional fees may apply. - Before booking, message me with any questions or concerns, promise I don't bite!

A typical day

Ice breaker game of treats "scatter" to help acclimate new pets in exploring a new space with new friends. Morning walk to Central Park, and evening walks to Pier 84 Dog Run or De Witt Clinton Dog Run. Lots of playtime activities like fetch, hide and seek and essentially socializing with other people and dogs. Dog walks are at least an hour long. I train dogs using basic commands, and also provide dog puzzles from beginner to advanced to keep even the most intelligent of dogs engaged. I also provide dog bowls, beds and toys, however feel free to bring one of your dog’s favorite toys.
