I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life—dogs, cats, birds, a snake, a bearded dragon, a turtle, hamsters… you name it! These days, I share my home with dogs, chickens, and some very vocal guinea fowl. As a freelance illustrator, I have the flexibility to give your pets the attention and love they deserve. I’ve even illustrated two books featuring a dog and a cat, so animals aren’t just in my life—they’re in my art! I’m comfortable caring for pets who need daily medication, too. My own dog had epilepsy, so I understand how important it is to follow routines and give meds with care and calm. Whether your pet needs a playmate, a snuggle buddy, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to help—and excited to meet them!

Your pet’s safety is everything to me. I live on a 1-acre property with a fenced yard and a doggy door for easy access—perfect for pets who are comfortable roaming close. For those who need more supervision, I’m always nearby to ensure they’re safe and happy. I’m extremely protective of animals and will go above and beyond to keep them safe (I’ve even removed a rat snake from my chicken coop—your pet is in good hands!). I’ve rescued lost dogs and helped reunite them with their families, and once even saved a duck with a fishing hook stuck in it. I’m patient with every pet, from wild little wigglers to slow-moving seniors. Whether they need gentle care or a bit of extra attention, I’ll treat them like my own—with love, calm, and total dedication.

When you book with me, feel free to share anything that will help me care for your pet like you would—from daily routines to quirks and favorite toys. Does your pet have any medical needs, anxiety triggers, or special instructions? How do they feel about other animals? Are they more of a snuggler or an independent explorer? I’m happy to follow whatever schedule or rules you have in place—just let me know what makes your pet happiest!
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about comfort, care, and sticking to your pet’s routine. Whether I’m visiting your home, staying overnight, or bringing your pet into my space, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. We’ll start the day with a potty break, a walk, or some outside time—whatever your pet prefers. I’ll follow any feeding, medication, or play schedules you provide, and give them plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. If they’re high-energy, we’ll play and get those zoomies out. If they’re more laid back, I’m happy to keep them company while they nap or just enjoy some quiet time. Since I work from home as an illustrator, I’m able to offer a calm, consistent presence with lots of flexibility. Whether we’re going for a walk around the block or just relaxing together, your pet’s well-being and happiness are always my top priority.

Availability
My schedule is super flexible! I work from home as an illustrator, so I’m around most of the day—perfect for keeping your pets company. On weekdays, I just step out briefly to pick up my son from the bus stop. My own pets are well cared for by my family while I focus fully on yours, whether that means daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship.
