Carisse was hired for a weekend pet/house sitter (Friday late afternoon through Sunday late afternoon). She didn't stay overnight, which was agreed upon since she only lives 5 minutes from us. However, she failed to come to the first appointed time on the first day and didn't let our dog out or feed her until after 8 PM, when the last time she was out/fed was 1PM. Then she failed to arrive the next morning to let our dog out & feed her. She never communicated to us that "something" had come up and she couldn't get there that morning or the first appointed time the day before. We had to try calling (while we were out of town) neighbors and another Rover sitter to come and take care of her. She had been alone and not taken care of for over 12 hours by the time we were able to contact someone and they came to care for her. She finally came to the second appointed time on the second day and did finish the rest of the appointed times over the rest of the weekend. However, she never stayed past 15-20 mins at any of the visits even though she was asked to spend time with our dog with playtime and walking, before the job was accepted and confirmed. This is my personal opinion; I think she only continued to come around the rest of the appointed times because we had notified Rover and she then knew we could see her comings and goings via camera. Had that not been the case, I'm not sure if she would've come and taken care of our dog at the times we had instructed. I would not recommend her to any of the people I know, at least for dog care.

Carisse was great with our golden retriever! She communicated well and provided pictures and updates. I would definitely book with Carisse again!
