A paw-sitively great time for your pooch!
As I'm sure every dogsitter will say, there's nothing better than having a dog as a shadow to follow you around, play with and cuddle up to. I've had my own dog for seven years now (Winston, male, Havanese - very friendly!), and have never looked back, and since he came out of puppyhood, I've been dogsitting for friends and family whenever they need, as well as for dog owners nearby or through Rover. When your beloved dog stays with me, they will be walked twice a day, have lots of attention and belly rubs, and play, with both me and my own dog.

I couldn’t recommend Candi and Alex enough. They looked after Minnie for a couple of days last week and they consistently kept us updated with photos. I was anxious at first as this was the first time boarder her but I am so happy with how it went. You can tell that Candi and Alex truly love dogs which is so important. Minnie clearly felt safe and happy and she can’t wait to come back :)

I work from home, so I am around all day to keep an eye (and provide doggy cuddles). I have my own dog, who I take for a long walk (around 30-45 minutes) in the morning, as well as a shorter walk in the evening (around 20-30 minutes), which is the routine I would generally stick to with your dog unless otherwise discussed. On the weekends, I would take your dog out for longer walks (depending on their ability) out in the countryside as me and my partner are big lovers of rambling.

I live in a house with a small enclosed garden space where I can take the dogs out for wees regularly, and I always keep an eye whenever they're out there. When I go for a walk, I'll keep the dog on the lead unless otherwise discussed, and always when by the side of a road or in fields full of livestock!

During the weekdays when I work from home, I will take your dog out for a morning walk (usually around 30-45 minutes) to the local park or on nearby country trails, followed by another shorter walk in the evening, with toilet breaks in the garden whenever they need. During the day there will be plenty of time for cuddles and play, and my own dog Winston is super playful too. On the weekends, me and my partner tend to go for longer walks, and will, age and health dependent, take your dog out for a couple of hours through the woods, for a swim, and to play with other dogs in the local area.
