I try to stick to the exact same routine that the pet(s) are used to from their owner (ie. direction of walks and walking style). I find this makes the animal the most comfortable with me and more likely to enjoy my company.

Alerting me of any behavioural issues and your pet needs is EXTREMELY important as well as the schedule they require. Does your pup do well with others? Are they sensitive to loud noises? Should we avoid populated areas?
A typical day
When caring for large dogs breeds, a good game of fetch and a brisk walk is my go-to activity with them. I also love just sprinting full speed with high energy breeds. They get a thrill and the plus side is they burn off all that energy.

Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm with everything from chickens to giant Kangal dogs. Animal care has been a big part of my life. Both of my own dogs I have rescued and hand fed from birth. I have experience caring for reptiles, cats, puppies, large/small dog breeds and rabbits. I’ve spent the last few years caring for Armstrong friends’ and families’ farm animals and pets and I would love to do the same for you!

We had Candace stay with our dogs and we unfortunately had some things happen with the house ( nothing to do with Candace) while we were away. She was so helpful and took it all in stride. She was very accommodating and we came home to 2 very happy dogs. Would recommend Candace to those looking for someone to care for their pets
