I’ve been around animals my whole life — growing up, I spent a lot of time on my family’s farm in Brazil helping care for horses, cows, pigs, sheep, which taught me to be comfortable handling animals very early on. Afterward, I spent several years volunteering at animal shelters, therapy centers, and adoption kennels, working with dogs and cats of all kinds — from energetic puppies to shy rescues. I also spent another few years pet sitting throughout college for friends, professors, and neighbors. Those experiences taught me how to build trust, stay calm in unpredictable situations, and create a safe, comforting environment for every pet. Whether it’s a walk around the block, playtime, or just hanging out at home, I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, relaxed, and cared for.
