My name is Caitlin, I am a lifelong animal lover and vegetarian based in Concord, NC. After my beloved dog of 15 years passed away in 2018, I found joy in caring for pets of family, friends, and neighbors. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of pets—including seniors and those with special needs. For most of us animal lovers they are our emotional support, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else's care. Your pet will be treated like family under my watch. Whether we’re going on a walk, cuddling on the couch, or following a specialized routine, I provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care that helps your pet feel safe and loved while you're away. I was dreading leaving Sophie for 7 whole days, but she did great with Caitlin! Sophie is an older kitty with IBD and has a particular schedule to follow to keep her stable, which makes me nervous to leave her. I’m so thankful Caitlin was willing to care for her, and also able to stay with her at night, as Sophie hates being alone. It really put my mind at ease knowing someone was there! Thanks again :)
Caitlin was great! So glad she could save us when we needed a last-minute replacement for our planned housesitter.
This was the first time I ever left my girl Maya alone overnight and I was a nervous wreck. Caitlin was absolutely wonderful with her and sent me updates and pictures all weekend. She was so sweet and took care of everything in my house while I was away. Absolutely recommend her!
Caitlin was wonderful! She stayed at our home with our two pups and took great care of them. She sent pictures everyday which we loved. She took in any packages and mail and even took care of the trash cans in garbage day. She left the house in great shape. We highly recommend Caitlin!

I welcome all breeds and sizes! However, for safety reasons, I may not be a good match for highly aggressive pets - as I am a 5’2” woman lol. I want to ensure both your pet and I are comfortable and safe. Let me know about: 🐾Temperament or reactivity 🐾Medical conditions or medication 🐾Feeding/walking routines 🐾Favorite toys or calming tricks I want to tailor my care to fit your pet's needs as closely as possible.
A typical day
I love staying active with the pets I care for—daily walks, backyard playtime, or mentally engaging games like treat puzzles are a regular part of my routine. But I also love winding down with a movie and a snuggle buddy on the couch. Whether your pet is high-energy or a mellow homebody, I’ll match their pace.

Availability
I work full-time during the week but am most available: Fridays through late Monday nights (available all day Friday–Monday, as I work from home those days) Tuesdays–Thursdays with some flexibility for pets that are comfortable being crated or free-roaming while I'm at work (7 AM – 5 PM). I can do morning, evening, and bedtime care on those days.
