Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I got my own at age six (and animals since I got my bunny at age five!). Now, I care for the four dogs I have at home, plus many others belonging to family and friends of all ages, sizes, and breeds. As a second grade teacher and a caregiver to my grandmother, I approach all my responsibilities with patience and empathy and treat all people and dogs entrusted to me as if they were my own.

Caitlin walked my dog for years when we were neighbors. She would come in to our apartment, check our dog's food and water, and take her for a walk. As our dog got older, she would clean up any accidents left, and make sure our dog was safe (she developed dementia and lost vision) by checking for open doors or corners she could get stuck in. She also stayed in our apartment for a few days to watch the dog when we were away and was respectful of the space.

I love walking on my own, so am happy to bring dogs along with me or get in some extra steps to make sure they get the time outside that they need. I'm happy to take dogs on distance walks if they need a little bit more exercise, or I'm happy to patiently stroll if your dog likes a more leisurely pace and time to sniff around.

Availability
I'm a teacher, so I have summers, weekends/long weekends, and school vacation weeks off. I teach locally, so can easily work dog walking into my schedule during the school year as well with enough notice to plan if need be.
