Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life but it wasn’t until I adopted my own that my love for dogs strengthened and bloomed. I have a big heart for shelter animals. I’ve volunteered for non profit animal rescues and shelters for many years. I’ve taken several canine training courses and I’ve also taken my dogs to training classes. I love watching dogs learn and love life! One of my dogs, who has now crossed the rainbow bridge, was a special needs dog and I worked endlessly to give him the best life possible. I can administer medications, supplements, and injections. One to two dogs at a time works best for me as I want to make sure I can give them the love and attention they deserve.

Caitlin was great with our puppy. Her daily reports were excellently written! I think she missed her calling as an author. My daughter and I looked forward to reading them everyday :-). She gave our puppy real quality care and attention and I very much appreciated it. I highly recommend Caitlin and will use her again.
Caitlin did a wonderful job watching my dog! She kept in communication with me and sent tons of photos without being asked. She texted me updates throughout my dogs stay to let me know what they were up to. My dog was very happy to be there and very worn out when he got home. I would definitely recommend Caitlin!

I have a fully fenced yard and many gates within my home so that your dog would be as safe as possible. My dog is crate trained and I’m willing to crate yours too. If not, they are free to roam in the house. They will always have fresh water and a safe and loving environment. I have a 2 year old toddler who loves “doggies” as well and I make sure to keep toys in a separate area so that the dogs are as safe as possible.

A typical day
I love to provide physical and mental stimulation. A lot of playing in the fenced yard, walks, puzzle toys, and sniffing/exploration! I have Kong Wobblers and Bob-A-Lot that I like to use to feed dogs and make a fun stimulating game for them. As someone with a training background I’ll even work on fun things like sit, stay, shake, etc.

Availability
I work from home full time and I have my own dog who would love to spend more time running, chasing, and playing with other dogs. My schedule is flexible so I can fit in daily walks, daily check-ins, lots of play time and lots of belly rubs.
