Pet care experience
As a lifelong dog dad, I have years of experience with my own pets and with others. Being a working author makes home pet sitting is an ideal situation for me. All I need is internet and a place to sit with my laptop. Cuddles from the fur babies always provides inspiration. You can count on responsible care from a guy who has had more life experience than some (a kind way to say older). 🙂 Although I prefer just a few days at a time since I’m married and have my own fur babies, I would consider longer term house sitting for the right situation.

Bryan is an amazing pet parent with his two dogs, Dolly Barkin and Porter Wagger! I have watched them anticipate their arrivals from the shelters and care for them so sweetly and responsibly. I am their Grammy Deb. Bryan and Jackie have cared for my two dogs and three cats several times when I am out of town. They are amazing. Bryan will treat your furbabies with such love and attention that they won't even know you left! He is so much fun and has a big heart and a big lap. He is very responsible and organized and he's a neat freak! So your house will not be a mess when you return! I can't say enough good stuff about this man! Your furbabies and you will love him.
I will 1000% recommend Bryan and Jackie! Bryan has cared for my pets previously and spoiled them rotten. Their own fur kids are super loved AND super well behaved. Givers of all the belly rubs, appropriate treats and special attention a fur kid can handle while their mom/dad is away.

My policy for care of your pets is that you know them best. I hope not to drive you crazy with requests of daily schedule, but routines are important for our fur families. Therefore, I will want to know a typical day and will try to adhere to that as closely as possible. I do not accept pets in my home.

Routine, routine, routine. That is my biggest concern. This is to ensure that your pet has the least possible disruption in your absence. A consistent environment makes for a happier pet and a happier you when you return.
A typical day
First and foremost, there will be lots of love, and dare I say, conversation. 🙂 Since we all need to exercise, there will be at least a few walks during a day. Other activities will be dependent on the routine of the fur friend.

Availability
I am a working author. This makes my situation flexible and provides my ability to be attentive. I still perform vocals with a jazz band, but that would be blocked off on my schedule as would any book tours.
