Pet care experience
We are new to Rover but have years of pet care experience. We are a pet family – happy owners of Clarice (our rescue pup) and Loco (our rescue kitty), with 25+ years of experience working with wide range of dogs and cats from the most docile to those who have boundless energy. We're also comfortable caring for reptiles (lizards, snakes, turtles, etc.), small mammals (ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.), and farm pets (chickens, goats, etc.) We specialize in working with dogs who need exercise, and our running services will help your pup blow off some steam! We are Red Cross-certified for dog and cat first aid. We have cared for pets of all ages, and we can help with pets who need meds or have special conditions (CHP, FLV, Ringworm, CHF, etc.) Services include: * Dog runs * Dog walks from 30 minutes to 2 hours * Dog and cat check-ins * Chicken coup check-ins – feeding, cleaning, etc. * Reptile and small mammal check-ins * Light pet grooming (dog and cat nail trims, brushing and bathing) * Administration of medications * General house cleaning/maintenance (mail, trash, lawn/landscaping, etc.) We are also well connected in the pet world in the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs, so if you have a need for training or alternative services, please let us know. Pets are like people and have likes and dislikes so we want to know what triggers negative behaviors as well as what they love to do most. Knowing about diet restrictions and medications are a must.
A typical day
Playtime is essential, and will be tailored for the individual personality of the pet, age, and activity level. For dogs: Catching the ball, going for a walk, and playing with toys are part of the normal activities we offer. If applicable, a jog or faced paced walk can also be a fun activity to help release energy. For cats: playtime is our priority! For all pets: Petting and praising are a must during each visit, belly rubs if receptive!

Availability
We are a husband and wife team new to Rover and are available to care for your pet(s) weekdays, weekends and holidays. We can accommodate short service calls or extended commitments, ranging from 30 minutes up to full-day sittings. In August we are offering $5.00 off the first booking.
