I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types.

We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or things I need to be aware of or pay special attention to. PLEASE NOTE: I am only taking medium-large dogs over 50 pounds on a case by case basis. As I have small children and various small animals. We love big dogs, but want to make sure it is a good fit so we are all happy and safe. Thank you!
A typical day
We have a large fenced backyard so we can play all kinds of off leash games outside. We would love to know what your pet loves best so we can meet their needs and make them feel at home. If appropriate I love to take the dogs with us on errands and love getting them a special whip cream treat from Starbucks. :) We want them to feel happy and excited to come here! Many owners will say their dog will be excited as they get close to our home when they come back for a stay or visit. We love hearing that!

I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens.
