I have been taking care of/raising animals since I was about 13 years old. We always had dogs growing up, as well as livestock and small pets (hamsters, birds, etc). I would also help family and friends with pet sitting when they’d be away. My love for animals has followed into my adult life, and over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge about all types of animals - big or small! I currently own goats, a pig, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and have a Great Dane. I am hoping to expand and help others with their pet needs, and continue to share my love for animals!

Brittney took such great care of Pluto. Being new to the area and in need of someone to look after Pluto she helped me feel at ease. She sent me updates and pics throughout his stay. I will definitely being him back. He had such a good time.

Brittney is a great animal caregiver she always will make sure every animal from cats to even pigs are well taken care of and knows it is cared for. She is very caring with animals of all kinds and responsible with instructions also takes great pride in making sure every animal she encounters is in good health and is tended to. She is the perfect person for rover!!

Programa
I am currently pretty flexible as far as a schedule! I can help in the morning after 9am, afternoons, occasional evenings. M-Sun! I am available to do one time, or reoccurring.

In a clients home I am of course respectful, and treat their pets as my own. They will be shown the love and attention my own pets would be shown. Appropriate walk times, and play times would be given. If going on a walk, your pet would be on a leash at all times and I will be sure to handle situations with caution. Food and water would be checked and refreshed if needed. I am ok with giving baths as well!

The days plans would depend on the dog - but things I love to do with my Dane include going to the dog park occasionally (I know this is not for all dogs), going outside for an hour or so to play tug, throw her favorite ball and play fetch, practice commands, lots of belly rubs and pets! A nice peaceful walk around a neighborhood, or a wooded/pathed area is also great!

- What they are like temperament wise, if they are playful, high energy, shy. If they may need some time to get used to me. If they need special care, such as medications, specific potty and/or feeding times. If they like other dogs, children, cats, squirrels, etc - and what to expect if they come in contact. Their favorite activities. If they walk well on a leash, or if they prefer to stay home.
