** Note from July 9, 2025: I’m temporarily not accepting new clients and offering limited services as I am preparing for a major spinal surgery with a long recovery (surgery date is August 19). I hope to be recovered enough this fall/winter to resume as normal! 🐾 🙏 ** I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses, and have always loved spending time with animals. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid, and nowadays, I enjoy caring for dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs in the area. I have 4 cats of my own and have fostered many (including hospice) over the years. I am reliable, caring, and patient, and would love to have the privilege of taking care of your fur babies! 😊

Brittany and Markus were outstanding pet sitters, and my dogs came home happy and tired. Brittany sent several pictures and a short video during my guy’s overnight stay. I really appreciated keeping in touch. During our meet and greet, I was a little concerned about the average height fence as one of my dogs considers them a challenge. But Markus took him out on a leash, and all went well. I feel my boys were well cared for, safe and entertained.
Brittany and Marcus are the best sitters I’ve ever had!! I’m a vet, and super picky who takes care of my babies. They are reliable, and always show up when I need them!!
Brittany is awesome!!. She provided frequent updates with pics and videos. She provided us peace of mind, We will definitely use her services again and we highly recommend her and Markus!

Our backyard has a secure 4 foot tall 15' x 38' fenced-in area connected to our deck. My husband and I enjoy taking dogs for walks to keep them active and happy. I always offer a meet and greet so you can get to know me and see where your pups will be staying! We have four cats, but for everyone's safety, we will keep them separated from the dogs unless the dogs don’t chase or bark at them. We host up to 3 dogs at a time and may accept dogs from separate households, but only if we’re confident they’ll get along. Both families will be consulted to ensure everyone is comfortable with the arrangement. Your dogs won’t be kept in cages like in traditional kennels—they’ll be treated like part of our family and are free to roam the house. I’ll provide daily updates with photos, keeping you informed about how your pets are doing throughout their stay! For drop-ins, I will carefully follow all instructions and provide both photos and detailed notes after each visit. I’m very responsive, typically replying to messages within 5 to 10 minutes.

Please let me know of any medications and how they’re administered, favorite activities, how they react to people and dogs on walks, words they understand, and any behavioral issues such as chewing on furniture or indoor marking. IMPORTANT INFO & FAQ: *** Verbal communication is not a guaranteed reservation for daycare or boarding. You must click the “book” button to reserve. I do my best to accommodate short notice bookings, but please book in advance when possible as I cannot guarantee availability otherwise. *** To be covered under the Rover Guarantee, each animal being cared for MUST have its own profile. *** I don't provide any discounts or special rates. The only offer available is the first-time Rover user code, which gives $20 off: BRITT34085 *** I do drop-in visits no earlier than 6AM and no later than 8:30PM. *** My service radius is a car drive no longer than 15 minutes from Landmark Dr. in Franklinton (drive time according to Google Maps). *** Drop-off/Pick-up for boarding/daycare is only available for those in Franklinton and surrounding areas, up to 20 minutes from my home and only between 6AM to 8PM. (If dropping off and picking up your own pets, hours are between 6AM and no later than 8PM). *** It is important that your dogs are fully house trained for boarding (I do not host dogs that mark indoors). *** I do not provide injected or orally administered medication to cats. *** Rover charges an 11% service fee maxing out at $50 per booking and also takes 20% from the sitter. *** Daycare vs Boarding: with daycare dogs do not stay the night.
A typical day
I’d love to play fetch with your dog, or take them on a walk around the neighborhood. I enjoy entertaining cats with feather toys and brushing or petting them.

Availability
I’m a full-time Rover sitter — my priority is providing great care for your pets. I am flexible on any given day of the week. I’m home all day with the exception of drop-ins, and my husband also works from home, ensuring your pets are never left alone during daycare or boarding.
