I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom who truly gets how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I have a reactive, fear-based pup myself, so I completely understand the nerves that come with finding the right person to care for your pet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to treat your dog just like family, because that’s exactly what they are. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years. I’ve also fostered pups on and off for the last 5 years—from high-energy goofballs to shy, shut-down dogs who just need someone to sit on the floor and wait until they feel safe. I’ve cared for seniors with medical needs, managed meds, and adapted to all kinds of personalities and routines. Big or small, young or old—I truly love them all. My approach is always patient, kind, and tailored to what each pup needs to feel comfortable and happy. I don’t have family nearby, so I know how stressful it can be to find someone you trust. For me, discovering the right sitter on Rover was a game-changer, and I’d love to be that person for you.

I’m not sure if I know anyone that animals love more, and vice versa. I’ve known Brittany for 10 years and she has always cared for her pets as the fur babies they are. In the last few years she has started to foster dogs as well, and helped find forever homes for dogs in need. I would trust Brittany with my fur babies and know that they would be in great, loving hands.
Brittany was great watching my two pups! She gave a lot of updates and photos throughout the stay. My dogs loved her!! Would definitely recommend!
Brittany is fantastic with my dog. I trust he will be taken care of and loved on when he's with her. I appreciate that she pays attention to my instructions, including using a harness and two leashes since my dog is a puller. She has also administered medication without issues. My dog enjoys spending time with Brittany which says a lot about her personality. I feel confident traveling out of town knowing my dog is in great hands with Brittany. I would highly recommend her services.

Routine is especially important when a new person enters their space, so I do my best to keep things calm, familiar, and stress-free. At home, my dogs are always separated during meals or when given chews. I use gates or kennels when needed to provide structure, allow for downtime, or give everyone a break. Otherwise, you’ll usually find them snuggled up on the couch with me or playing together—with plenty of belly rubs, of course.

A typical day
Since all dogs have different preferences, I try to gauge their interest and meet them at their level. Mine love to play fetch and get belly rubs until my hand falls off, but that’s not for everyone. Whether their preference is long walks, playing outside, lounging outside, snuggling or just coexisting while they silently judge me, I try to read the room and lean into it.

Availability
I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care for your pet. While I typically work during the day, being home allows me to easily adjust my schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins, especially with a bit of notice. I’m also generally available in the early mornings, evenings, and most weekends.
