I used Brittany on 4/2-4/4 and I was not sure what review I would leave. I requested “house sitting” which from my understanding was that the person would physically stay at the home. However, this was not the case. It might have been my mistake, and next time I will make sure the person used can stay. Brittany ended up letting my animals in at night and came back to let them out in the morning. I was a little upset with both nights them coming in too early one night they were let in at 6:30 for the entire night and the next night at 5:20 for the entire night. It did not make sense to bring animals in and knowing they have no way out leave them in that early, however, I was able to have my neighbor come let them back out to use the bathroom. Brittany did offer to come back if that was too early, I just felt I should not have to explain that, that it was obviously not acceptable to leave them in for that long. So it would be 14 hours stuck in a room. I used rover hoping to take stress off my need for my animals to be taken care of and I could have just used my neighbor to let them in and out. I also was charged the “house sitting” fee not the other “in and out fee” but I digress. Overall the dogs were fed, the cats were fed, and it worked out. But I probably won’t use rover again. Also, I realize this could have been my mistake and I should have been clearer with my need to have someone stay, but the request states “house sitting” and from my understanding that requires a stay. Anyway, Brittany did do what I believe she thought she was requested to do, other than letting them in way too early, again she did offer to come back out but it felt more like it was turning into a hassle for me and something I did not want to have to deal with.

This was a great match for me and my animals. Brittany is very attentive and really cares about the animals. She came to us on a holiday weekend and gave up time with her own family so that we could visit ours. She spent the night and took care of the house too. Brittany kept in contact with me and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something, which I totally loved. Everything was great when I returned, the dogs were happy and the house was as I left it. I would definitely recommend Brittany and I will use her again FOR SURE!!
