I have extensive pet and animal experience. From raising my own pets as a kid to living on different farms and caring for indoor and outdoor pets to helping friends and family with their pets. I’ve done it all. As a kid I spent time on a border collie farm where I helped care for the dogs in training. As a teenager I helped friends and family with their dog’s challenging behaviors. As an adult I have helped take care of and pet sat for friends and family. For my friends with more challenging dogs I am the preferred option for their pet sitting needs. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and a rewards based approach when handling any pet. I am equipped to handle large rowdy dogs, temperamental cats, food aggression etc.. My own dog is in her senior years so I am actively caring for a senior dog. She recently has lost most of her hearing and vision and requires hands on care to help her navigate eating and going outside.
