Pet care experience
I've had a dog at my side all my life (and sometimes a cat 😺), and I've been dog/house-sitting for all my adult years. I wholly understand how important our babies are to us and how important their everyday quality of life is. I have experience with high-energy/neurotic dogs, senior pups, young puppies, and those still working on training. I have been travelling around the US and Mexico with my current dog (Barley) for the past 2 years, and along the way volunteering at shelters, fostering, training, and promoting/fundraising for adoption services, etc. I am currently am living in New Orleans and working part time, usually evenings. I usually spend as much time outdoors as possible, so your dog is sure to get plenty of walks and playtime! I also have a very sweet, sociable, well-mannered dog (Barley) who loves to make new friends. She is also good with cats.

Brianna was amazing and Barley was an amazing doggie host. The pictures she sent of our pets getting along really made us happy knowing they were safe, secure and around a warm person and pet. Definitely will be requesting her again!

When boarding, I spend most of my time in my home and fully-fenced courtyard. My own dog loves making new dog friends and loves to play as well as snuggle. when sitting at a client's home, I would prefer if Barley were able to stay with me as well so I can care for her properly.

A typical day
Being new to New Orleans, I love exploring different parks and places around the city. So far my own dog and I have catalogued quite a few excellent parks and we keep finding more! If your dog is a fetch fanatic or a tug-o-warrior, we will make a great match. If your dog likes to play with other dogs, Barley will be their new best friend. If cuddling is more their jam, bring on the snuggles and belly scratches. And of course, I will ensure they get plenty of hydration on those hot days. ? We can even bust out the kiddie pool to beat the heat!

Availability
Being a dog mom myself, pet care is a well-established part of my everyday life. I will care for your dog (and/or cat) exactly as I would my own. I do work part-time and sometimes am gone for 4-8 hours for those shifts.
