I am new to Rover, but have been a pet/housesitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. I am available for long term (7+days) in home pet sits anywhere. I am a snowbird, who lives in NE Indiana the rest of the year. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. I am a social introvert, who enjoys spending time with animals, volunteering, babysitting, exploring, reading, gardening, photography and using my creative side as much as possible. I LOVE going on adventures with the pups that I sit for. Everywhere outdoors that I go, they go (if the pet owner approves). I am also just as content cuddling up with them at home. I bring over 30 years of experience in house/pet sitting. I have bonded with so many sweet pets (of all ages, sizes and breeds), made great friends with their owners, and have been blessed to be invited back by all of them (please see my 5 star reviews under my photos). I am very capable of sitting for multiple pets, while caring for your home, yard, plants, and pool. I grew up in a family of 7 and my parents raised us to be independent and self-sufficient. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, therefore I have no trouble driving up to 16 hours to do a house sit. I am honest, reliable, clean, and respectful of other people's homes. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. I am very frugal and I strive to live a zero waste lifestyle. I have extensive experience with gardening, plant care, and yard maintenance. I worked as a florist for 10 years and have always had a garden and eclectic selection of plants of my own. Finally, I love photography and will most likely send you lots of cute photos of your pets.
