Jenny works from home, and I'm on a hybrid schedule. Most days, your pet will have a human around. And, on the off chance we're both out, we're rarely gone for more than 3 or 4 hours.

Our home is very dog-friendly. We have a fenced-in backyard, and on warm days, I'll sit in the backyard working and let our furry friends run amok. Otherwise, we'll be in our den or on the couch working. We have dog beds and blankets in every room. We let dogs find their comfort zone. We have never had any accidents, but you should feel comfortable knowing that The Big Easy Animal Hospital is just down the street, and PVSEC is about 15 minutes away. I used both for my boy Maxx when he got sick, so the doctors and techs know me!

Information Brad K. would like to know about your pet
We would love to know if your furry friends have any special needs, particular loves, or cues they give to humans. (Maxx the Dog used to tap the coffee table when he was hungry!) It's also important to let us know if anything makes your dog reactive. And, of course, feeding times and instructions (because if left to our own devices, some chicken might "accidentally" fall off our dinner plates).
A typical day
If we're both home, one of us is generally working in the den, and the other is either on the couch or in the second den upstairs. We typically let the pups figure out what suits them best, but they have blankets and dog beds everywhere in the house. For dogs that are a little skittish, we try to have at least one of us near the pup until they settle in. And, if they love the outside (and it is nice outside), I'll work outside and let the pups sun themselves. (I'm also known to play fetch with them as I work.)

A pet-friendly house for your dog!
Pet care experience
Jenny and I have a wonderful home built for dogs! We have a fenced-in backyard to play ball or just hang out in the sun. All the furniture is ready for sleep and snuggles during the day. And, the king-sized bed is best when the fur buddies are hanging out at night. We live near Frick, which is the best place for walks, and the Heritage Trail, which is a non-muddy place for walks when it's raining :) But our neighborhood is also walkable, which is very nice for dogs who are reactive. We only watch one family of dogs at a time, so your furry friends won't have to worry about navigating other pets.
Reviews

Brad and Jenny took care of our dog Lucy who has anxiousness in new spaces and they did a wonderful job supporting her and loving her throughout her stay. We appreciated the updates and their conscientious care. She was snuggling with them faster than any other new human she’s met! We will be booking again!

Willow and Juniper had a great time with Brad & Jenny! Brad and Jenny provided wonderful care and frequent updates. It was clear that they are seasoned pet caregivers and animal lovers. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great experience with Brad & Jenny! They provided regular updates and photos, respected Bella’s routine and needs, and clearly took wonderful care of her while we were away. Bella (our little Maltese puppy) was happy, well cared for, and comfortable the whole time. We really appreciated the communication and would absolutely book with them again.

Brad and Jenny are amazing! There was a snow storm before my trip was planned and the roads were pretty bad - they let me drop Marge off a day early to accommodate at no charge. I really appreciate their responsiveness and flexibility. And they sent lots of cute dog pics too 😌
