I'm patient, punctual, passionate and I value play! Let me shower your pet with the attention they prefer. I have experience with a variety of animals, ages, sizes, and I am very good with animal body language. I foster with the SD Humane Society and have completed the following tracks - kitten, cat, dog, safety net, behavior, and fostering eLearning. I've fostered medical and behavior animals. I have experience with leash pulling, highly reactive dogs, and senior pets. At one time my home housed 4 senior pets; one was living with us for hospice care. My two in home pets are foster failure cat siblings who are kept separated from pets in my care. For longer term boarding there can be a conversation about introducing them. My care experiences includes fur sibling & pack dynamics with highly attuned situational awareness. I've also worked with many breeds including: Chinese Crested, Malinois, Australian Shepherd, Pug, Standard Poodle, Jack Russell Terrier, Dachshund, & Chihuahua

Bonnie was amazing with our dog! Our pup is deaf and partially blind and she has a few personality quirks. Bonnie did a great job introducing herself slowly to our dog and gave her so much love and attention during their time together. She sent me plenty of updates so I knew our pup was doing well throughout her stay. You can tell she really loves animals and truly cares for their well being & comfort when they’re in her care. Will definitely be using Bonnie again in the future. :)

Bonnie was great with our three cats! We could sense her experience by the way she interacted with the cats (even the first time she met them) and this made us feel confident leaving them in her care while we we were away. They were also very calm when we returned home which let us know that they too felt comfortable and taken care of by Bonnie. She had no problem administering multiple medicines and giving extra help to one of our cats who was still recovering from an injury. We appreciated her detailed check-ins, regular communication, and all the lovely pictures she sent while we were away! This was our first time having Bonnie as a sitter, and we will definitely be reaching out to her in the future.

I worked in software for over 28 years and I transitioned into working for myself a few years ago. I value the flexibility and range of clients. It helps break up my day, get some exercise, and I get to give love to more animals.
