Blythe has taken care of both my energetic puppy and my senior dog, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter. She’s incredibly patient, attentive to their very different needs, and always makes sure they feel loved and comfortable. My senior dog needs a little extra care and my puppy can be a handful, but she handles both with ease. On top of that, she’s super respectful and even helps tidy up around the house without being asked. It gives me total peace of mind knowing my pets—and my home—are in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and compassionate sitter!

Safety, trust & environment

It is extremely important to make sure that my animals or any animals in general feel comfortable in their current environment. Giving animals the opportunity to take bathroom breaks outside or making the bathroom option available to pets who cannot go outside is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water and specific foods as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

Information Blythe D. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know everything that you feel is important for both your pet’s safety as well as other people’s and their pets. This includes behavioral issues, allergies, medications, specific schedules for feeding, and allowed treats. I would also love to know everything that your pet enjoys, for example, swimming, fetch, nap time, belly rubs, etc.

A typical day

Mental and physical stimulation are both very important factors for the well being of pets and will be an important part of play time! Walking on safe paths for leashed pooches will be a top priority! If your furry critter has a specific preference for swimming we can explore that as well. I am also very willing to play different games with them and even try to do some basic obedience training as well if needed!

I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm but care for animals in the early morning and after my shifts end. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours after work. It is extremely important that my dog gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule.
