Hello there, My name is Blake. I'm deaf and I read lips. I speak well. I know ASL ( American Sign Language). I grew up with big dogs, German shepherds, lab, and other big and small dogs. I’ve been dog-sitting with my mom's dogs for years to walk, play, feed, and bathe. I take care of cats, birds, and rabbits. Call me crazy I think rats are cute. I used to own one. I would take your dog for a walk to the dog park and hiking with your dog if approved. It's fun walking with a happy dog. I moved here 8 years ago from Indiana to be closer to my daughter and grandson. My granddog (my grandson's dog), Lumi, she’s deaf and is a mixed Pomeranian/Australian Shepherd. I spoil them like my own. Love and affection! I live in Prineville temporarily and in a new RV trailer 36 ft long and also have a dog ramp for boarding only on weekends next to the Fairgrounds. I'm available to watch your fur baby in Bend, Tumalo, and Redmond areas only!! My work is in Bend.

Blake did a fantastic job with Shelby and Kitty. Shelby was so relaxed when I came home and I could tell from the photos Blake shared, that Shelby has a lot of fun with her. My pets were happy when I returned and my house was clean and well kept. Booking Blake was easy and our initial meeting was great. Thank you or takings such great care of my furry kids.
Blake was wonderful and went the extra mile for my dog Bridget.
Our pup had a great time with Blake. We had an event to attend in Sisters and didn't want to leave him in the car or at our Air BnB alone. Blake took him on a 5 mile hike and played ball with him. It's not easy to wear this guy out but he was so happy and tired when we picked him up. Thank you so much Blake!
Blake was very helpful and took care of our golden Nymeria. Highly recommend her!! And we will use her again in the future.

Housesitting, Overnight stay, I tent to keep your home clean, and I’ll strip the sheets off the bed where I will sleep, and towels will be washed and folded on the last day. Sadly, My housemate's cat passed away at the age of 17 yr old. 2-1-2023. 🥲 He was a good indoor/outdoor cat! I missed him terribly. He doesn’t get along with other cats. That is why I haven’t had a cat sit in my home . . I’m planning to get a kitty for myself soon. And I want my kitty to get along with other cats and dogs. . I have a litter box.

Let me know if your dog run off? Or bite? Or don't get along with a cat or kids? Any allergy? Does not like to touch the belly or feet? My housemate's cat does not like his belly touch.
A typical day
I love to hike; I hike 4, 5, 9 miles or more anywhere like, Shevlin Park, Green Lakes, Good Dog Trail, And a dog park at Old Mill to play with other dogs.

Availability
I quit my job. I’m now self-employed as a house cleaning—14 years of experience. I work part-time from 9:00 to 1:00, 3-5 days a week. I don’t work on weekends. I would let the dog outside for a pee break and play/walk before and after work, and play most of the time on my days off. I would go hiking for 5 - 10 miles , and I also do winter hiking. I have my microspikes and snowshoes. Hiking /Backpacking is my addiction! P.S. if you see, one of those days I’m not available during the week is that I have a few clients I clean out of town in Terrebonne and some near Lapine, a big house usually done by 5-6 hours, plus the drive. I can’t watch your pets, but if you have a fenced and a doggy door that your dogs go outside anytime, then I can watch your pets.
