Dogs and Cats are the best people!!
I have been loving and caring for dogs and cats since I was a little kid. In addition to my family’s own pets, I have been trusted to look after friends and relatives pets for over 20 years. I was the go-to person even in elementary school to walk and look after my friends’ dogs or take in their cats when they were on vacation. I’ve volunteered for various shelters starting from when I was a teenager to walk and train their dogs (including “difficult” ones) and have been fostering cats and kittens since I was 18 years old, everything from bottle fed to “spicy” feral kittens. I love dogs and cats more than I can put into words… they are genuine and pure and just the most wonderful furry friends a person can ask for. I have trained many puppies into well behaved adults without using any aversive training. I also have experience caring for senior dogs with high needs including very frequent potty breaks or even using dog diapers. I am comfortable with dogs that require very long walks and have high exercise needs as well as those that never want to leave the home and just use puppy pads. I am also comfortable with reactive dogs and dogs with extra training needs. Whatever your dog or cat might need I’m sure I’ve encountered it before and I’m ready for it. I always walk dogs by themselves (unless otherwise requested) and try to take great photos as an aspiring professional pet photographer.

I have 3 very friendly dogs as well as two cats at home that get along well with whomever. I have extra dog beds, crates, leashes, and harnesses. I also have crates of various sizes that I can use at home or bring to clients homes. I have leashes and harnesses for small, medium, and large dogs. I also have dog beds for small, medium, and large dogs. I can supply my own dog bags and treats or use whatever you might prefer. As far as cats goes, I have two litter robots at home but am comfortable scooping regularly when pet sitting. I always clean up after myself and try to leave my client‘s homes better than I found them.

Birger is a great sitter! I can tell that my cats love him, he is always really attentive to them and showers them with affection. He also sends the most lovely photos!
Birger was fantastic with Moana! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about her well being. He kept me updated throughout the walk and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. Moana came back happy. I would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to other pet parents!
He spent a lot of time with our cat, playing with her and giving her a lot of scratches. He was very nice to her throughout and it was a relief to see that. He also sent many pictures of her everyday. Overall recommen him!
Birger was absolutely fantastic with our cat, Beast, during our trip. Beast can be a bit moody and selective with people, but Birger was so patient, sweet, and attentive that she really warmed up to his presence by the end of the stay — which for her is honestly a huge endorsement. 😂 He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire booking, sent thoughtful updates, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, cared for, and loved while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We’re beyond thrilled to have found such a reliable, communicative, and genuinely chill pet sitter here in Hell’s Kitchen. Cannot recommend Birger enough — book this guy!
Birger did a great job. He puts in the extra mile while pet sitting (long stays, really working to connect with your pet), and also communicating thoroughly with photos and detailed sitting descriptions. I'd hire Birger again for sure.

I am self-employed and currently pet sitting full time with an extremely flexible schedule that can work around literally whatever time you might need me to. Whatever hours you might need me to be available I can make work with my schedule, including night time and last minute walks or drop-ins.
