Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded by dogs. My parents had dogs that I grew up with and my close family and friends have always had dogs that I spend a lot of time with and look after when needed. There is something so special and heartwarming about dogs, they bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, they truly are man’s best friend! I always knew I would own my own dog as an adult when the circumstances were right, however when my grandma unexpectedly passed away I didn’t hesitate to take her dog in as he has been part of our family for 13 years. Whilst this was unplanned and I was unprepared, I quickly adapted my lifestyle to ensure I could give him all the care and attention he needed and we immediately formed a wonderful bond. I have had Zak for 2 years now and couldn’t imagine my life without him! We have a beautiful little life together and would love to welcome others to be a part of it 🥰 I have experience with several dog breeds, different temperaments, senior dogs, incontinent dogs, dogs with special needs (one of our dogs had epilepsy), preparing and administering medication, dogs that like to be left alone and ones that need all the attention!

Beth loves dogs and is great with them, always taking care to make sure they are well looked after. She accommodates pet specific schedules, dietary needs and has lots of love to give to any animal in her care. I'd recommend her.
She has cared and looked after multiple breeds, of all sizes, including my siberian husky multiple times for long periods if needed, she has a brilliant temprement with animals, and understands each dogs needs, dietary, exercise and personality, she loves them all, would reccomend her to look after any dog. She loves walking so the dog walking side is a bonus for her and she enjoys it, wouldn't choose anyone else to look after my dog.
Beth is such a lovely caring person and is in her element when around animals! She adores her dog Zak and also friends and families dogs whom she has looked after on numerous occasions, all with owners knowledge they will not only be well looked after but will have the best fun loving time whilst there. I would highly recommend Beth as she has cared for my 2 pooches for weeks sometimes leaving me free to enjoy holidays etc! Knowing they are well cared for and can always contact to get regular updates on their daily activities if needed.

I have a homely 3 bedroom house with a fenced/gated back garden so the back door usually stays open. Dogs are welcome to do as they please in my home, they will stay downstairs with me during the day but there are no restrictions in terms of being on the furniture/bed, wanting attention or to be left in peace, I will make it as comfortable as possible for them whilst in my care. I have a petcam set up in the living room which I can view from my phone so if I do need to leave them unattended I can still monitor them. Whilst it isn’t my favourite job in the world, I have no issues with cleaning up dog mess so please don’t worry if your dog isn’t fully toilet trained or is prone to having accidents in the house. I live in a peaceful, beautiful and friendly area with lots of other dog owners/walkers and we love to stop for a quick chat and doggy sniffs on our daily walks. Bonus points, we are also near a working farm with plenty of lovely walking routes 🐄🐑🐎🐓☀️

Please provide as much detail as possible for your pet, including any special needs, dietary requirements, their daily routine and rules/restrictions that you’d like me to comply with whilst in my care. I understand that everyone has different expectations, requests and restrictions and I will accommodate these on an individual basis to ensure your dog is as settled and content as possible whilst with me. Although Zak is friendly with other dogs, I would require a meet up in a neutral place with both my dog and yours before accepting any bookings to ensure their safety and tolerance of each other 😊
A typical day
Our day starts around 9am with breakfast in the garden (weather permitting), followed by a walk across the moor behind my house. My day then consists of project work, admin, cleaning, painting, whatever needs doing on the day whilst Zak sunbathes or stands on the arm of the couch to people watch out of the front window. We have dinner around 2pm then walk again an hour later, this will usually be a longer walk past the farm or to the park. Zak will usually sleep peacefully next to me for the rest of the afternoon and only wakes up for wee wee’s or treats! We walk again in the evening between 6-8 before we get settled for the night.

Availability
I live alone with my boy, Zak. My life is centred around him and he sure knows it! I recently left my full time office job so it’s rare we are apart, we do 3 daily walks and he usually comes with me if I’m out of the house. Some might say he is spoilt, and rightly so 🤩 Currently, I’m home and free most of the time and want to take advantage of being able to earn money whilst doing something I love and giving your babies my undivided attention.
