Pet care fits nicely into my weekly routine, and I’m currently available part-time on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. I keep a flexible schedule on those days, which allows me to give your dog the time and attention they deserve without rushing. While I’m starting with limited availability, I can be flexible when needed. Just reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate you! I’m excited to grow into this role at a pace that allows me to offer the highest quality care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At home, we have securely fenced areas at both the front and back of the house, with a grassed space perfect for calm, on-lead playtime and games. Inside, our home is dog-friendly and thoughtfully set up with gated areas to keep pets safe and separate from things like children’s toys or anything that could cause stress or overstimulation. There’s also plenty of space for crates or beds, and I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine, whether that means crate time, free roaming, or something in between. We do have one resident dog: a friendly, 1-year-old female Labrador (currently unspayed), and a cat who is used to being around dogs. I always take introductions slowly and carefully to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, secure, and positive environment where they feel relaxed, respected, and happy.
Information Bethany J. would like to know about your pet
To give your dog the best care, it’s helpful to know the basics like: - their health - routines - any triggers - their food and sleep routines But also tell me what makes them feel safe, excited, and rewarded. Every dog is different, and understanding what comforts and motivates your dog helps me tailor their experience so they feel happy and secure.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about meeting your dog’s needs in a thoughtful, enriching way. I believe that walks shouldn’t be just about burning off energy, they’re a chance to fulfil your dog’s natural instincts through play, training, and connection. Depending on your dog’s breed, personality, and age, we might play structured games like retrieving, engage in a bit of scent work, or channel chase instincts in a safe and purposeful way. These activities help satisfy their mental and physical needs, which naturally supports better behaviour and emotional balance at home. Between outings, I encourage calm and settling through enrichment tasks tailored to your dog, whether that’s a chew, a snuffle mat, or simple decompression time in a quiet space. My goal is to return your dog not just exercised, but fulfilled, relaxed, and content.

Pet care experience
DBS checked, animal first aid certified and fully insured. I’ve spent the past 18 months fully immersed in raising and training my own high-energy, working-line Labrador. That experience has sparked a deep passion for working with dogs and understanding what makes them happy, safe, and fulfilled. One of the things I care about most is making sure dogs get what they need, not just a walk, but real engagement. I love using play, training games, and time in nature, to give dogs both mental and physical stimulation, especially in ways that suit their breed and personality. I am currently undertaking a Level 3 in Canine Behaviour and Learning, and love finding out what makes different breeds tick. I treat every dog in my care as I do my own: with love, respect, and so much enthusiasm. They truly are treated as part of the family.
Reviews
We were really worried about leaving our two dogs for the first time with someone new. We met Bethany and she put all my worries to rest, we had a settle in time and during there stay was updated every day on how they were doing. She was absolutely brilliant in looking after them and helped me by delaying drop off when our house alarm was going off. ( the dogs are really afraid of the sound) I couldn’t recommend Bethany highly enough xx

Thank you Bethany. First time we used this app. First time we used a dog sitter. Our dog Katie loved Bethany. Meant so much to us. We were able to enjoy our son's wedding in full, as we knew Katie was so well cared for. Will definitely be asking Bethany to dog sit againxx
Bethany came to visit prior to Hattie’s first walk to go over everything. She turned up on time and messaged to give comfort. 10/10 hope to use again in future 🥰

We had the absolute pleasure of having Beth. house sit for us over the weekend to look after our dog, George. From the moment we met, it was clear that George was in safe and loving hands. She kept us updated with regular messages and adorable photos, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. The house was spotless when we returned, and George was clearly happy, relaxed, and had been thoroughly spoiled with attention and care. It’s such a relief to know we have someone so trustworthy and caring to look after our home and our beloved dog. We can’t recommend Beth highly enough and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you so much for everything!
