I love taking dogs on long walks to ensure they get to burn up energy. And depending on pets comfort level I will throw toys and play with them. Or let them hang out according to how they usually do when you are around!

I’d like to know how they get along with other animals and or other people. If they need any specific medications or meal regimens. I have no breed preferences! I love all! I also like to know a bit about there personalities. For example, if your pet is a little nervous or shy I’ll slow down my movements and use lots of positive reinforcement to show that I’m not scary!

I’ll try to find a park or a lake to go for long walks. If the owner is comfortable with that. If it’s raining, then I’ll try to plan indoor activities for the pet to get all of the energy out. I’ll participate in lots of snuggles and tennis ball throws. I’ll even sing to them when it’s time to go to bed. I love taking pictures of animals, whether they are on walks, playing, or sleeping.

I’ve taken care of dogs and other various animals since I was 16. I’ve worked at doggy daycare places and boarding facilities. I’m currently a full-time nursing student, but I hold a degree in veterinary technology, making me an animal nurse. I am also fear-free certified, meaning I use lots of treats, moving very slowly, and taking my time to get to know your pet's individual needs.

Beth is so amazing! Always our first choice! She truly loves taking care of our dogs and treats them like her own. She sends so many updates and photos. Our dogs love staying with her!
Beth is AMAZING! I was so nervous to leave our dogs for 9 days while being 17 hours away. Beth immediately put me at ease! She took such amazing care of our dogs, sending multiple updates and tons of photos per day. She took them on long walks and made sure they got plenty of exercise even though it was so cold outside. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Beth- she is the best! We will absolutely book with her again!
Beth was wonderful with my dog Daphne and so good about keeping me updated! I would absolutely hire her again.
Beth was great with Hilda, my nervous rescue dog. She was very communicative and sent pictures of Hilda. She had great knowledge of dog behavior and made me feel very comfortable in my absence. Hilda would love to see her back.
