I'm compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced with all kinds of animals, having grown up caring for them. Through my experience I have become adept at identifying the needs of and providing for cats and dogs of all temperaments. I believe that life is always better with animals around and a happy pet makes me happy as well. You can rest easy during your pets' stay knowing that they will be happy, healthy, and well cared for.

Ben is a lovely human. Very responsive and I felt very safe leaving my pup with him.
Murphy loved staying with Benjamin and his puppy Jasper. The dogs were very compatible and had fun playing together. Murphy came home happy and relaxed. We would definitely recommend Benjamin as a great Dogsitter!
Benjamin is the absolute best! He is easy to communicate with, asks questions and is sure to clarify details to keep our dog safe, takes him on fun adventures, and returns him happy and healthy. Finn is always psyched to see him. Makes it easier to leave our pup knowing he is in such great hands!
We’ve come back to Ben again and again for his stellar care. Our 5 month old puppy is excited to spend time at Ben’s and we can rest assured knowing he’s being loved and attended to. Ben sends lots of photos and spends ample time with our pup throughout the day. Would highly recommend Ben to anyone who’s nervous to send their pup off. Ben has been our saving grace!!
Ben has been helping with my dog the past couple months by dropping in to take her potty and occasionally feeding her. He’s highly communicative and asks clarifying questions. I am very wary of people taking good care of my dog but I trust him completely. He also sends pics and videos, and in the videos my low-energy, often indifferent dog is thrilled to interact with him. I have total peace of mind when we have Ben!
Wasn’t able to give proper care to dog who had surgery. Overall felt uncomfortable and wouldn’t recommend.

Schedule
I work from home and have a lot of down time that I can devote to your pet. They will recieve near 24/7 care on most days. At minimum dogs will be taken out for regular potty breaks and at least two 30+ minute walks per day. There will be no shortage of play time throughout the day as well. On weekends, I tend to be outside in nature on adventures that I will be more than happy to bring my furry guests along for.

I live in a spacious single bedroom apartment in S Portland. I have a big couch and a bed that are free for your pets to make themselves comfortable on. There is no shortage of fun outdoor spaces nearby that your pet can enjoy, including a dog park in Willamette Park, and the waterfront at Sellwood Beach.
Pets
A typical day
We might go for a hike or have a day by the river where they can swim and potentially play with other dogs. For high-energy dogs there are parks nearby where they will have plenty of space to run around. While inside we might alternate between playtime with toys and lounging on the couch with scratches and belly rubs.
