FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES ⏰ I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your loved one(s). I wake up at 6am Mon-Fri and get many times throughout the day to go outside for walks on many of the hiking trails in our gated community. Agi & Robert have the whole day free to care for your pups and can take them for long or short walks as frequently as every hour.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT 🏡 We live in an exclusive gated community in Walnut Creek that is very peaceful and quiet with very limited car traffic. The grounds are well maintained and have many beautiful tree-lined streets, rolling hills, walking trails, and parks which are all dog-friendly. We also have a shaded & fenced-off dog park if you pup feels like socializing. Our home within the gated community overlooks the hills and is kept clean, is non-smoking, has no children, and no other pets. We always use a leash on walks and a canine seat-belt for car rides if desired. We’re happy for your dog to sleep in bed with us but also welcome you to bring a dog bed or crate.

Information Ben B. would like to know about your pet
Please let us know if your dog is on any medications, has special needs including a special diet, uses a mobility aid such as a pet stroller, is leash-trained, house-trained, and/or crate-trained. Please also let us know if they get along with other dogs and children who we may encounter on our walks. We also appreciate having their current veterinarian info on hand if available. Note: Please check your employee benefits for free pet-sitting through Rover. These are sometimes listed as childcare credits through BrightHorizons that can be converted to Rover credits. We are more than happy to send photos, videos, & updates of your pup’s stay, address any concerns by phone 24/7, and welcome FaceTime video calls if you simply miss them & want to say hello.
A typical day
Your pup’s first walk would typically be between 6:00 & 8:00am along the very dog-friendly streets and in the early afternoon they'll have an extended walk with a visit to the dog park, a nearby walking trail, or around the Lafayette reservoir if desired. They'll get at least one more walk in the later part of the afternoon and another at nighttime (if they're staying overnight). At night they'll sleep comfortably in a bed, couch, or a dog bed of your preference.

1-on-1 Loving Care 🐶 ❤️
Pet care experience
Discounts to all first time clients! Ask us about it at your meet & greet. Hi! I'm a PhD (Biologist) who loves all dogs - and the feeling tends to become mutual very quickly! Dogs have always felt very comfortable around me and I can tell what they're thinking before they even so much as whimper. I've taken care of breeds from Chihuahuas to Great Danes for over 10 years & started doing it for Rover in Dec. 2023. My lovely parents, Agi & Robert, often help with boarding and daycare when I’m out of town or working and they are fantastic with all dogs as well having raised several of their own. We’re a team and it’s become a family operation as they absolutely love caring for dogs in their retirement. The three of us will be making your dog feel like a part of our family. EXPERIENCE 🐕 We have raised dogs from birth and have experience with senior and disabled dogs who need extra help getting around - as well as dogs who need medication in the form of pills, eye drops, ointments, or injections. We give all of our pup guests plenty of individual care during walks, meal-time, playtime, and learning. Tell us if you’d like beginner-advanced training or obedience lessons for adolescent dogs or working breeds. Feel free to bring a tug-rope, collie-ball, tennis balls, dummy-duck, snuffle-mat, or any other enrichment device. If your dog instead is independent, antisocial, has anxiety, or simply prefers quiet alone time, please mention that as well. We understand that each dog is unique and we are happy to accommodate to their individual personalities and needs. Your pup will have individualized one-on-one attention throughout the day according to your preference.
Reviews

Ben and his parents have watched our dog a few times, and she is always well taken care of! They take her on lots of walks and send photos every day. Would definitely continue to use Ben!

Thank you for taking care of Loki! We knew Loki was well looked after, from the daily updates with pictures and videos; from the affection showered on him even though he is sometimes difficult. You made sure Loki was comfortable and gave him a blanket, when we should have brought one. We are so grateful that you made this experience easy for Loki and for us. <3

Another wonderful stay with Agi and Robert! They’re so wonderful about communication and making Waffles feel like part of the family!

Ben and his family were absolutely amazing with Quixote! They took such amazing care of him and kept us updated on how his stay was going. Ben and Agi are both so warm and kind, and we knew Quixote would be in great hands with them. We never want him to stay anywhere else again!
