I'm home all day for romps and play
I work from home which means I'm always present to take care of your dog's needs. Is s/he reassured by having someone around during the day? I'm there! Does s/he need a mid-day walk? I'm home so it's not a problem! I'm active and always looking for a companion to join me on my daily walks. Not your dog's pace? That's fine, too. Being home all day gives me the flexibility to adapt to your dog's schedule - whether it's shorter, more frequent walks or longer walks several times a day, I can make it happen. I grew up with Jetson, a large, kind and incredibly loyal Yellow Lab - he was really and truly the best. He passed when I was in college and I've done everything I can to keep pets in my life ever since even when living in small apartments and during three years abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I did a lot of pet sitting for friends while living in Washington, DC where my landlord wouldn't let us have a long-term furry friend. My friends will tell you how much I love dogs and how good I am at taking good care of them while their owners are away. My family and I live in a Congress Park bungalow with a modest fenced-in backyard. We're a smoke-free and pet-free home, but know that my two boys are under 6, so there is a LOT of energy in our house. There are about 20 steps up to the front of my home, but we have a back exit with only 4 steps in the event that your dog has trouble with stairs. I was previously on Rover in Ann Arbor, Michigan pre-kids. I'm back on as my professional schedule has slowed down and I now have some free time for pet care again.

I work from home and have some extra time recently, so I'm happy to spend it giving your pet extra attention. I look forward to keeping them company.

We will treat your dog as our own, although that may be a bit boisterous with two young boys in the house! They are assured EXTRA loving from small humans.

We'll take walks around town and in neighboring parks, we'll eat treats (but not too many), we'll relax in the yard (weather permitting, of course) and we'll hang out in my office while I work and your dog snoozes.
