I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets.

I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.

Pet care experience
All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you!

Basil took care of my dog Harpo for two weeks while I was in France last year. He took excellent care of Harpo while we were gone. He took him on long walks around our property and hiking on his favorite trails. Basil even sent me pictures to let me know my buddy was doing great, which allowed me enjoy my vacation and not worry.
I would highly recommend Basil as a dog sitter. He loves animals and has always been their champion. He has taken care of my families pets quite a few times over the years. He is extremely responsible and caring. He will fill this role very well.
