I grew up pet-sitting dogs of all sizes in my neighborhood and have had my cat, Azula, for the past 4 and a half years. I make friends with animals everywhere I go and pet-sitting is a labor of love for me. I have cared for puppies and elderly dogs and enjoy learning about each animals personality so I can care for them in the best possible way and make sure they’re as happy as can be while their owners are away. ✨😁

Basia was a wonderful pet sitter for my little angel Birdie. She made sure to make time to play, while always making sure she was well fed and her litter was clean. Everyday she sent an update with a photo and short summary and made sure I was in the loop throughout the entirety of my trip away. I am extremely grateful for her services as I was very nervous trying to find the right sitter for my pet. I highly recommend her services if you're looking for someone to make your pet feel safe, playful, and cared for!

I would be caring for your pets in your home by doing daily visits. Because I have a fur baby of my own who needs my care as well, I would prefer not to stay overnight. My cat, Azula, lives with me and is anxious around other animals so for the safety and comfortability of both your babies and mine, I would not be able to host any pets at my house. I have been renting apartments and houses in the Honolulu area for the past 7 years of my life with an unblemished record. If needed, I would be more than happy to pass along any landlord information to speak to the level of respect and care that I have had and continue to have for other’s property. I would prefer to meet you and your baby(s) once before the pet-sitting takes place to discuss instructions in person and get a more clear idea of what services you would like me to provide while you are away.

Let me know if your pet has any specific needs ahead of time so I can be as accommodating as possible! I would love to know their favorite toy, and any petting preferences (ie. my pet only likes to be pet/touched on his/her head and back, they don’t like belly rubs, etc.) so that I can make sure I’m being respectful of their personal space. If they need any medication or special food I would also love to know instructions about that.
A typical day
I want to hear what your pets favorite activities are and I will build my visits around doing things they enjoy and that make them feel comfortable! I love taking walks- long and short, tossing toys and playing fetch and making sure they get alllll the ear scratches, butt pats and quality time they desire. If your pets are older/not in good health and don’t have high energy levels, I am also more than happy to sit and chill with them and give them some calm time with a buddy.

I’m currently working part-time in the service industry as I look for a career job within my degree field. Because of this, my schedule is very flexible and I am able to offer daily check-ins either in the morning or in the evening depending on my schedule. If a regular gig became available, I would consider altering my schedule to better meet the needs of that client.
