Loving one dog at a time !!!
My name is Barbara. I have pet sat for many friends of mine over the last 15 years, but sadly they have either moved or are no longer with us.

Barbara, took good care of my little dog Jay, I plan on using her again later this year.
From the moment I met Barbara I knew my pet would be safe with her. Skai took to her right away. Her home was peaceful and welcoming. Barbara kept me updated- assuring me our dog was doing well. I will definitely use her services again.
Barbara was very understanding that we needed to cancel at the last minute.
Wonderful. I have the freedom to leave Oakleigh and fly to the west coast. And I don’t worry for even one minute.
My dog is well taken care of and I can leave her with Barbara without a worry…every time. I am thankful.
Oakleigh was well taken care of in my absence. I am thankful to have found Barbara.

I am single and retired and generally spend most of my time at home except for a few church functions during the week and an occasional lunch with friends. I would say at the most I am usually only out of the house for 2 or 3 hours a day.

I am able to take the dog outside frequently on a leash to do its business and perhaps a short walk. When in my home I spent a lot of time in my chair and like sitting with a dog in my lap to pet. I generally sleep in my chair and would prefer the dog to be crated at night. if not he can be in his own bed next to my chair. If I care for a dog in your home I may be able to take up to a medium sized dog and perhaps more than one but only if it is a fenced in yard. I do not feel comfortable walking larger dogs.

Because I am older and retired I am not particulary active in my daily routine and would prefer an older less active dog. If I do go out its usually in the morning and I'm home by lunch. I would not probably take a dog with me when I went out.
