Hi, I’m Averi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets. I’ve raised 7 cats, 2 dogs, 3 rabbits, 3 birds, and even a desert tortoise, so no matter the species or personality, I’m comfortable and confident providing loving and patient care. I currently live with one friendly cat in my apartment, and while I don’t provide boarding, I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I truly believe pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. Averi is absolutely AMAZING!! Kitty Cat, Bali absolutely loves her! Bali wants to be friendly and social; but he is not easy to warm up to new people. However, when Averi came for the initial visit, Bali ran after her after his initial "hiss"; Averi said at that point that she knew that would be great friends. Averi is wonderful because she really knows cats and she made Bali feel less stressed. I could tell from every picture she sent, that Bali was relaxed and happy to see her. Averi is also very responsive to the animal's needs. Anyone would do well to have Averi as their pet caregiver.
Averi was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was away, and I came home to happy, relaxed pets and everything in great shape. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and reliable hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!
This was our first experience using Rover and we are so happy. Averi is awesome!! Our kitties clearly sensed she was safe and kind because they came right up to her and let her let them. That’s rare for a first introduction. Thank you for taking such good care of our babies.
Averi was incredibly attentive and caring towards our cat and dog during in-home visits while we were out of town. She provided clear highlights from each visit and kept us informed with how each pet was doing along with including photos of each of them at every visit which was so appreciated! We are already at ease with future trips knowing we have a safe and reliable person to care for our fur babies!
Averi was amazing with being flexible to meet Titans needs. She was very open and communicative during their first visit together. We are excited to have her spend more time with Titan. He seemed to really like her and felt comfortable and safe with her.

I’m available Monday–Friday all day, and I’m flexible on weekends for walks, visits, and house-sitting requests. Please inquire about hours and I will see what I can do to help you out!

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to follow your routines and instructions so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and understood. I respect that every pet has their own personality and preferences, and I take time to build trust at their pace. During drop-in visits, I provide: Fresh water, feeding, and any needed cleanup (litter boxes, accidents, etc.) Enrichment and playtime suited to your pet’s energy level Walks or outdoor time if requested Medication administration if needed (pill/PB treat, liquid, etc.) Calming companionship for shy or anxious pets For house sitting, I maintain structure and consistency by: Following your schedule for meals, walks, bedtime, and routines Keeping your home tidy and secure Sending regular photo and message updates so you always feel connected Giving plenty of play, affection, and supervision so pets never feel alone My goal is to make your time away stress-free — for both you and your pets.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated! I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and favorite ways to play. For dogs, that might include walks around the neighborhood, sniff-and-explore adventures, fetch, tug-of-war, training practice, or puzzle toys to keep their minds busy. For more relaxed pups, I’m always happy to provide gentle strolls and plenty of cuddle time. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys like feather wands and lasers, window bird-watching, treat puzzles, or simply sitting together and giving affection if they prefer calm companionship. I’m also patient with shy or cautious cats and will go at their pace to help them feel comfortable. No matter the pet, I make sure our time together is fun, enriching, and full of love — and of course, there will always be lots of photos and updates so you can share the smiles too!
