I’ve been petsitting since 2017, so I know a lot about taking care of animals! I’ve had a love for animals since I was a kid, and I’m great with them. I love big dogs, small dogs, cats, and hamsters! I know all the best places your cat likes to hide and exactly where to scratch your pups. :) I will communicate with you regularly and send lots of photos so you can relax and enjoy yourself while you’re away from your sweet pet. Pets are family - I know how hard it can be to leave them so I will give them lots of TLC while they’re in my care. I enjoy playing fetch and going for walks, or just cuddling on the sofa - I give epic belly rubs! I can give baths and administer medication as needed. I respect your home and property and you will return home with everything as you left it. I do not have guests over while petsitting without permission. I’m happy to bring in the mail, water plants, and keep up with shedding, too. I am a junior at HPU and I have my own reliable transportation. Ava was great!! We were gone for a considerable amount of time over the holidays, which is an hard time to book petsitters for. We felt very lucky she agreed to petsit for us through the new year! She not only took great care of our rambunctious pup and aloof queen cat, but she also took great care of our home too. She was communicative throughout the stay and sent regular updates for our animals. She’s a very considerate caretaker, meeting with us prior to her stay to talk through watching the animals and getting to know them, and just alleviating our anxiety about being gone so long. They were happy with her :) tysm Ava!!!
Very happy with Ava’s care of our indoor and outdoor cats! The cats were all healthy when we returned after a longer than usual trip, clearly well-cared for. And the house was tidy and ship-shape. Ava also was responsive throughout our trip with photos of the kittens every couple of days. Made us feel very comfortable. We’ll ask for her again!

A typical day
I love to exercise so if your animals want lots of outdoor time, I’m your girl! Hikes and beach time are fun, but so is playing fetch in the back yard! If your animal is more of the cuddly type we can hang out and watch movies.
