When I care for pets, I make sure they get plenty of enrichment, exercise, and affection. For dogs, that might include neighborhood walks, sniff-adventures, park strolls, fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys that keep their minds busy. I match their energy—whether they love running, exploring, or simply enjoying cozy snuggle time. For cats, I bring out their playful side with wand toys, lasers, puzzle feeders, or gentle enrichment for shy or senior kitties. And of course, I never skip the essentials: treats (as allowed), pets, and extra attention tailored to their personality. My goal is to make every visit fun, comforting, and engaging—so your pet feels happy and cared for while you’re away.

Best cat sitter in town!
We are so incredibly grateful to have found August! We left our four cats in their care for a full week, and we were able to enjoy our vacation with complete peace of mind, knowing they were in such wonderful hands. August was professional, responsible, and so clearly a genuine animal lover. We received regular updates (and a few adorable photos!) that showed our cats were happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. When we returned, the house was just as we left it, and all four of our cats were calm and happy—you can always tell! It's not easy finding someone you trust with your pets, especially with four of them, each with their own personality. August handled everything perfectly. We will absolutely be booking August for all our future trips. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our fur babies!
