Hi, I'm August, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I’ve had dogs since I was 12 and welcomed my own pup into my life two years ago. Since then, I’ve been committed to learning more about training and behavior by taking classes, which has deepened my understanding of dogs' needs. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve had the pleasure of watching other people's dogs in both my home and theirs. I’m reliable, organized, and always punctual, ensuring your dog gets the attention, love, and care they deserve. We love knowing that when we go on vacation, our dog Max, age 12, has a relaxing holiday chez August. He goes on long walks, spends time with friends, and receives the best loving care. We appreciate the photos and seeing his joy upon arriving at August’s home. Highly recommend!
August is the absolute best! He took wonderful care of our coonhound Max. We are extremely happy with his care and communication with us during a lengthy vacation. We had a much better time knowing that Max was under his care. 100% recommend.
August was really communicative before the booking the booking and kept me updated during the stay. My dog had a great time. Highly recommended.
August has looked after our dogs many times, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to everyone. We have a large saluki with separation anxiety and an elderly and quite frail whippet who needs medication, and August is excellent with them both. He is always calm and kind, and we come home to two very happy and well cared for dogs.
August’s care and affection for my dog has been both touching and reassuring. He always ensures there are enough walks every day and takes great pains to make her settled and comfortable. He provides regular updates so that I know all is well and kept up to date when I’m away. He’s a considerate house guest, reliable, meticulously tidy and and all round delight to deal with.
Hej! Jag kan varmt rekommendera August som hundvakt, då han passat mina tre hundar flera gånger. Han är punktlig och lugn och ansvarsfull plus har god hand med djur. Mvh Sofi.

A typical day
typical day with me is all about balance—plenty of activity, rest, and love! We start with a morning walk to get some fresh air and burn off energy. Throughout the day, we mix in playtime to keep your dog engaged, whether it's playing fetch, tug-of-war, or exploring the outdoors. I make sure they have time to rest, relax, and recharge with comfortable spaces for naps. And of course, your dog will get plenty of love and attention, from belly rubs to cuddles, so they feel right at home.
