The days that I will offering services are the days that I am not working and 100% available to tend to the needs of your animals. They will not be left alone. Keep in mind that my job takes me out of wifi and cell reception so if messaging me on days that I am not home my respose time will be a bit longer. Please allow 12-24 hrs for a response, although most times it will be well before that. On days that I'm listed available I will respond promptly. Thanks for understanding,

Profile says we live in an apartment but that's just from my old accomodation and I'm unsure how to get that changed. We currently live in a detached home with a mostly fenced yard with barriers at the side of the house to make it fully fenced. We have a large walk out basement that we often leave open during summer days so the animals can freely roam from inside to the fenced yard as they wish. The neighborhood has loads of quiet back alleys that are nice for walks and a forested creek just 5 min walk from the house and loads of trails to hike and explore. Sproat lake is a short drive away and if owners are comfortable we are happy to take furry friends with us to the beach on really hot days. Tofino is onlly an hour away and on longer stays I am happy to take them out with me for an afternoon of sandy beach strolling. Again only with the owners permission. The home itself is smoke free and we keep it clean and tidy.

Let me know if your dog/cats/ has any preferences,tendancies or special quirks that I should know about in order to best care for them. While I don't necessarily have experience caring for special needs animals, I do have experience dealing with sick pets and grew up tricking our 4 cats into taking medication. With instructions to follow I am happy to care for a pet that requires a bit more attention and care.
A typical day
I love to go on walks myself and hikes all around the city. Tofino and Sproat & Cameron lakes are all regular haunts for me and with permission from their owners I'd be happy to take my furry friends along. When they are all tuckered out we can chill in our yard and enjoy the sunshine and cool evening breeze that comes through the valley at sunset. There is a forested creek only a stones through away that I like to hit up as an evening walk route. Rain or shine, we can still venture out and about as the rain doesn't stop me from getting out and enjoying some fresh air.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a house full of pets but sadly as an adult my career choice has made it difficult to have a pet of my own. It does however leave me with chunks of time off. That leaves me wide open to help out in my community by proving an affordable and caring alternative to costly kennels for your fur babies. I spent years in my early 20s in ajob that saw me caring for 30 or so cats and dogs at a time, so I'm very comfortable around all sorts of personalities. I owed horses over the years so I have experience with big dogs 😄. We have a partially fenced back yard that we close off so your dogs can roam the yard at their leisure. My hope is that my husband and I can offer your pets a comfortable and relaxing space while you are away and peace if mind that your pets are in the care of folks who genuinely love having them in our home.

Audrey was wonderful! We were a bit late and accommodated us. She was very nice and took good care of Moka who is now having a nap after a good day. Audrey's place is very nice with nice garden. I recommend !
Audrey was great! My dog loved her stay there and I felt 100% assured she'd be well cared for. Great communication, updates, feedback - you can tell Audrey really cares. Would absolutely book with her again.
Audrey was really great with Kira, she walked her and played fetch for a long time with a dog that lives for fetching and retrieving. She sent pics and vids, much appreciated. We came home to a very happy doggo!
Audrey was fantastic! She is caring, accommodating, and great communication/updates. She welcomed my pup into her home and bonded with him at his pace. Definitely recommend!
