Pet care experience
I’m a dog lover at heart, with more than 10 years of professional dog sitting and walking experience. I go for walks in beautiful Alaska nature every day, and all my doggie guests get to have a HAY DAY! 💕🗻☀️🐶😃 We have cozy couches and lots of doggie toys, and my doggie Buddy enjoys companions to play and chill with during the day! We also have a chihuahua here named Sonny who is also fine with pretty much all doggies who come stay with us as guests.

I have no worries when I drop my puppies off with Astrid! I get updates throughout the day and they are so sleepy when they get home from all the fun they had throughout the day!!!
Astrid was wonderful she loved my dog it was obvious and she kept us up to date with texts and photos. Highly recommend her.
Bruce adored his time with Astrid and Buddy! They all got along so well I was worried he wouldn't want to come home! Astrid is lovely and professional. She was very communicative throughout Bruce's stay ensuring I was never worried about his happiness or if he was missing us too much. I would absolutely recommend Astrid to other pet owners. We will be asking her have Bruce again in the future. Thank you so much Astrid!
Astrid is very loving and has a very calm and patient demeanor. She has been great to work with getting my anxious pup socialized and comfortable. Her dogs are calm and welcoming. Her home is very dog friendly, everyone has a comfy spot. She has really put in the effort to make sure my lil pup is feeling loved.

A typical day
I get up around 7 and begin work around 9, with a doggie walk around noon. I often work online, in the living room, right alongside the doggies, and otherwise in my office connected to it. Every so often, I like to take breaks and sit with the doggies, give them some love, and let them out.

I work from home, and take just a few doggies at a time (doggie sitting is my happy side gig) - so they get to have a home away from home experience that’s not overwhelming, but cozy, full of personal attention, love, and fun.
