Pet care experience

A Lifetime of Dedicated Animal Care

My dog care journey includes five rich years as a foster parent, adopting my own, and working at local doggy daycare and boarding centers. Since I was 16, I've provided sitting, walking, and drop-in visits, helping many dogs integrate and find forever homes. While not a trainer, my big heart and natural rapport with animals have made me the trusted go-to for family and friends. I bring patience for seniors, energy for playful pups, and a reliable, loving presence to every visit.

Pets

A typical day

Every day is tailored to your pet's needs and energy, but a typical day is built on a foundation of care, play, and companionship. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and a good dose of morning cuddles. The heart of the day features our main adventure—whether that's a long walk exploring neighborhood smells, an energetic game of fetch in the yard, or puzzle toys for mental stimulation. Afternoon means wind-down time, with gentle pets and a nap spot in the sunshine. Evenings are for a calmer routine: dinner, a final leisurely walk under the evening sky, and some quiet bonding time before bed. Of course, you'll receive plenty of photo updates so you can see the tail wags and purrs for yourself!

To ensure your pet's safety, happiness, and routine, I believe in thorough communication upfront. Before any booking, I love to discuss: Routine & Schedule: Feeding times, amounts, walk/play schedules, and medication needs. Temperament & Behavior: How they are with strangers, other animals, on walks, and if they have any anxiety triggers or favorite hiding spots. Health & Safety: Veterinary contact info, allergies, any ongoing health issues, and their vaccination status. The Little Details: Favorite toys, games, treats they can/can't have, and any unique quirks (like an obsession with squirrels or a fear of thunderstorms). Home Logistics: Your preferences for key exchange, house rules, and how you'd like me to handle mail/plants. My goal is to mirror your care as closely as possible, so the more I know, the better!
