Pet care experience
Friends and family call me their go-to dog walker and pet sitter, whether it be a quick walk down the block, or a 2-week overnight stay. My experience includes volunteering at the humane society, walking pups with harnesses or gentle leaders, administering oral medication, and training with lots of affection and treats! Usually, pet sitting happens in the pet’s home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I have cared for puppies, kittens, and senior pets - some with dementia 🙃.

Ashlyn has been my go-to person to help take care of my two GSDs; more like my dogs ask for her! She knows her way around big dogs and cares greatly for my stage 5 clinger and knows how to handle the other that's leash reactive. She goes the extra mile to send updates and photos and gets creative during playtime so the dogs are never bored with her!
Ashlyn is such a compassionate and caring dog sitter. She is our go to person when we are in a pinch. Our mini schnauzer, Bo, requires medication two times a day and she is able to give him his medication with no issues. Bo loves his extra long walks with her and going to the dog park.
Ashlyn house sat for us for several nights while taking care of 2 cats and one xl dog. She was very communicative and sent us cute pictures of our pets daily. We felt very at ease knowing our house and animals were being well cared for. We will definitely book with Ashlyn the next time we go out of town. I can't recommend her enough! 😀

It’s helpful to know how your dog behaves on leash and reacts to other animals on walks. Additionally, I’ve worked with dogs trained in different languages with different hand signals, so learning the dog’s commands in their preferred language is super helpful!
A typical day
Beyond going out for a nice walk to explore all the sniff spots, I like playing the game: Find the Treats, where I hide small treats around the room and have the dog sniff them out!
